I have an inkling once we receive the Jackson picks that we will have a crack at getting WC’s pick 2. Just an opinion. He could fall, I think if picks in the top 3 to 6 don’t change and with West Coast the main ones looking for a taller forward he may just be a surprise who falls 1 Father son Ashcroft 2. North - I think they’ll go the big mid in Tsatas 3. GWS - mids needed for those leaving so I expect Wardlaw (who’s uncle is a Dees fanatic) to go 4. West Coast - IMO they will take Cardman based on what I’m hearing 5. Essendon- tall defender or mid IMO- Clark I don’t expect Sheezel to fall any further than this, Crows will give up their first for Rankin so if we want him pick 6 or 7 at worst is needed Edited October 1, 2022 by Pennant St Dee 2 Quote

Wardlaw was meant to be rated almost as highly as Ashcroft but keeps pinging hamstrings. So comes down to how much a club believes they can manage the injury. Potentially a Chris Judd type scenario. Surely Essendon will take Sheezel if he's still there (I think he'll go in the first 4) Quote

Perkins and Sheezel both end up as mids as much as forwards, and they move Davey around too. I wouldn’t be worried about that combination Quote

He’d become the first GWS player to live in Western Sydney if he did. Players leave GWS for generic go home factor, cash and opportunity. Sydney (either club) is still the best city to be an AFL player if you have a good career Quote

Take out factors like team success, crowds, post footy media careers and family and go by what the cities have to offer - anonymity, climate, activities, beaches - I’ll take Sydney any day. As long as you can afford the $6 lattes. Quote

Supreme_Demon 4,133 Posted October 3, 2022 Posted October 3, 2022 (edited) He is definitely a top 5 talent Harry Sheezel. Would have to be given the nickname Cheezel too! 😁 Edited October 3, 2022 by Supreme_Demon Quote
Whispering_Jack 31,365 Posted October 21, 2022 Author Posted October 21, 2022 North appears to have set their sights on Harry Sheezel - a freak forward who ticks all the boxes. This is why A fair appraisal of this top prospect but if you knew Harry, you wouldn’t use the word ‘obsessed’. The correct word is ‘focused’ - his head is on his shoulders and for the last 4 or 5 years he’s worked hard to get where he is now. I think he’ll be happy to stay in Melbourne as well. 3 Quote
spirit of norm smith 16,677 Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Sheezel is definitely the classiest player in the draft pool. He’s creativity and skill make him effective in the midfield and in the forward50. He’ll probably to the Bombers at pick 4. 2 Quote
