Just heard on foxsport news channel that Nick Stevens and the Blues announced at a press conference this afternoon that he will miss the remainder of the season with a neck injury. Plans to have surgery next week and will miss the remainder of the season.

Bad news for Blues fans and Nick!

Never nice to see that kind of injury to any player

I dont for one minute wish o suggest there is anythig funny about Nicks predicament, there's not. Hope he recovers and continues his career.

however there is a humour side story:

anyone notice the bagging by chanel 9 on Footy Classifed where they took to task a report by channel 7 onthis very item, Nicks's injury. They interviewed Nick and all but gloated as to how silly and ill -informed 7 was compared to 9's far bettter ability to have its finger on the pulse..

well...9 certainly have their fingers on something !! :D

This is actually the third top class sports person brought down by a severe neck injury following Andrew Johns and Brendan Cannon.

Both of which had their careers in league and union respectively, ended.

Hopefully Nick Stevens will have the best treatment he can get and make a full recovery.

I wish him all the best.

He has had no luck at carlton. That move has been a bust for him.

Bad luck to Nick, he is a very valuable player for the blues.

I hope his recovery is quick and painless.

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.     Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session.
