Practically bald, possibly going the short-sleeved jumper.

Why Ed, WHY?

What’s next? Cosmetic surgery to tone down that smile?????

Two headbands gone in as many months. Kozzie and Spargypants will have to shoulder the burden alone.

Demon Army project, WCW? Get Brodie to de-bun and band up?

It's to confuse his enemies.

"I told you to tag Langdon!"

"Duh ... gee coach."

"You know who is he is, don't you?"

"Nah ... yeah .... nah. I dunno."

"The one with the long hair!"

"Duh ... okay coach." *thinks* "I fought he went to Freo? Better book me plane ticket now."

That’ll be next on the list after our current project: getting BBB to bun-up and quit Krusty-ing.

He is the one player who actually wears the bun well.

As one who 'suffered' this early in life, I now see that Ed might be in the early stages of the actuality, WCW? Bit of temple recession going on there. The Shave is the modern young man's sanctuary when hair patterning no longer supports the Rock star / Biblical look. But no loss of attraction, I'm sure you'll come to realise!

No Clayton! You're making it worse!

Come back to the Clarrie we worship and adore. 🙏

Clayton haircut top photo is awsome.  Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a good hair cut, in fact I'd say it's actually a very rude hair cut, but that's precisely the point.  That kind of hair cut would stand out like the proverbial dogs balls on the footy feild and anoy the hell out of opposition supporters the 40 or so times a game Clarry racks up a possession.  He's actually quite angsty, niggly and in your face with the constant smiling demeanor on the footy feild and that just adds to the infuriation of opposition supporters.  All in all that also makes me smile.

Even Ed’s forced smiles are welcome!

Forced probs because he had his arm around me and I had just told him I love him more than I love my own children 😁🙃🤗

The good news is he’s gonna grow his hair back! He got it cut because he was overseas during the break and it was easier to manage at this length. (I hear ya, Ed!) So it’s not due to “temple recession” as @Timothy Reddan-A'Blew and I guessed it might be. Whatever the reason, the smile hasn’t changed, so all is good in the world. 😊

That was @WalkingCivilWar's reference, my good Man - I, ditto, am an expert; she, not so sure...

Anyways, I take as gospel(ish) her assurance - trusted, though invested, correspondent that she is -  that 'tis otherwise.

You and I, though, will continue to 'watch this (increasing?😉) space'. And, regardless, we both know hairlines matter not a jot!

TRAB, I met a German chap many years ago proudly displaying a very advanced state of aggressive forehead. He said rather crudely that it was a solar panel for a sex machine. Not wishing to confirm or deny his assertion I nodded my stunning affro (with obligatory blond tips) and left. Recently I have been thinking he may have been right. I think Ed is in the process of joining the party.

Or the WalkingCivilWar Stalking Gallery

Well, as a stalker I’m not very good. Stealth is NOT my middle name. In the pic below there’s Bailey Laurie about to take a pic of Riv and me. Bailey’s holding my phone, and why is he laughing? He’s laughing because he sees my home screen background is a closeup of Ed. He then calls out to Ed, “Hey Langers! Her wallpaper!” 😳

Luckily Ed wasn’t creeped out, (I think).
He just said “you’ll need to update it now” in reference to his hair, or lack of.

Yeah nah, stalking ain’t my forte.

Also, each player had a name placard on their table. I accidentally took Ed’s one and accidentally slipped it into my bag. I looked up to see if anyone had noticed and who’s looking right back at me? Ed, of course. He winked and said, “I didn’t see a thing.”

Now it’s accidentally in my lounge room. 😁

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
