When I bought my personalised MFC number plates ( 57  MFC)about ten years ago, I didn't know 57 would be so significant. At the time, I chose 57 as it was the third of our hat trick of premierships. 55,56,57. Now, wouldn't it be wonderful if the latest 57 number would be the START of our next hat trick of premierships? Very possible I would think. Anyway, here's hoping. Go Demons!

What did you pay and what are they worth today Bobby?

Good questionQD. Around $110 if my memory serves me accurately. Nothing like todays price which I think is in the $450 zone. I think my design is better than the latest but that is debatable.

Have you considered the possibility that the omen went the other way? That is, if you'd bought personalised MFC number plates with, say, 48 MFC, we wouldn't have had to wait so long between Premierships? Mind you, a 48 year wait would have meant a Premiership in 2012. Even a good omen wasn't going to help us break the drought that year.

I wonder if 21 MFC has been snapped up yet?

Maybe 22 and 23 would be a good investment and a pleasure to witness.

Got this footy card from a friend who happened upon it in a store near Kyneton and it's sat on my desk since he gave it to me, Tassie played in our last premiership in 1964

I believe I saw a car at Whitfords shopping centre with that number plate about 18 months ago. Do you shop there?

I do. There are a few other number plates like mine around the Perth area. I have also seen a couple in the Woodvale area. Cheers.

I'm pretty sure here in NSW the government stings you an annual fee ( more than normal plates) on top of your normal regolith costs. So apart from your initial outlay for personalized plates you keep paying each year. Just another way to keep taking in money. Maybe they outsourced it to a private company. Much like they have done with all our roads here.

I remembered the number plate because that’s the year I was born. Must have been you.
