Jack Viney looks primed and ready to deliver on two generations of desire to win this game, and his brand of hard, hard pressure and body work should fear no repercussions on GF day.

Shall hunt and hurt Libba and pop up for three clutch goals from contested ball in forward line... plus digging it out to Trac and Oliver to run riot.

Agree with this...this is the moment he has been built for! I think he may play a game like he has never played before. I thought his game last week was up there with the best performances I have ever seen from him...I'd set him for Libba

Unsung hero sounds like under appreciated job. Sounds like a job for Harmes or Bowey or Langdon or maybe Tmac

edit or Viney - all the attention was on Gawn and Trac last week but Viney was incredible

I think lil Charlie Spargo might pop up and do a couple of incredible things that will have all Dees supporters up off their couches, jumping around their lounge rooms with that almighty feeling of pure joy….

All of us supporters who have stuck by this downtrodden Club through thick (and mostly) thin. We will truly  be the 'unsung' heroes.

BUT onfield , it's hard to go past Vines and Nibbler.

Mark Williams.

Fritta to kick six.

Great prediction @COOLX !

You might have mentioned that he’d receive the second most Norm Smith votes, or that his third and fourth goals would kickstart our run of 16 2nd half goals… but I appreciate you probably didn’t want to give too much away on your return from the future 😂

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
