Because it denies Cat 2 and 3 members a chance to go. Sorry but unless you have been a regular contributor to this forum you don't deserve a code.

I couldn't agree with this more.

I have quite a few priority 1 and 2 barcodes and if anyone is interested they can PM me, I'm not looking for payment.

There are 6 priority one and maybe 7 priority 2, I'm not sure exactly.

Get back to me and I'll respond in the morning.

I'm a long time WA based member. Praying that my Priority 2 barcode gets me a ticket after 11am Tommorow. Would be crushed if all of the VIC based supporters have passed on their codes to casual fans and the allocation is full when Priority 2 starts 😅

Anyone know how many Priority 1 memberships would be out there?

Myself and 2 other priorty 2 members are hoping  to go - so 3 is what we are hoping for. Would be ideal to get the tickets early and be able to relax haha!

I think we can arrange that. I’ll pm you the barcodes, they are GF guarantee tickets.
just make sure the lot of you yell loud and often.

VERY keen for a priority 1 barcode if you have one left! Great of you to share so many!

I would love to be considered. I currently have 2 x priority 1 and would you love another 3 priority 1 so the whole family can go. We are mad Demons supporters and moved to WA 2 years ago.

Desperately chasing 2 x barcodes if anyone has any available (happy to pay). Perth based dees fan! Thanks in advance 🙏

Excellent question.

I would happily give my ticket to someone in Perth provided they sign a stat dec that they will cheer for the Dees and put thier excellent booing skills to use to our benefit.

I would happily go for your team and buy your tickets ….. I will even wear your team colours

Thanks for that.

I can confirm Phil is correct block 131 is always the home team cheer squad and where Melbourne CS were last Friday night.

Ive genuinley been too busy celebrating hungover all weekend after attending friday nights game to even realise this whole barcode trade is a thing!

Prior to covid shutdowns in 2020 shutting down my business id been an interstate member for decades, hurts so much not having access to guaranteed tickets for me and my family given its going to be the only time in history (at least for the next 99years) the GF will be in my home town.

Assuming i dont get access to genral admission tickets Im going to make the most of it and have a good old fashioned back yard bbq with a bunch of friends that have all jumped on board the bandwagon

Go the dees.................1 more game of happy tears to come hopefully!

Also chasing 1 x Tier 1 code? I know I’m late to the party but was just waiting for my dad to confirm he’d be there so hoping to secure him a ticket, who has flown up from tassie

Good morning all. Insanely jealous of the lucky dees fans out west. Would love to be at a Grand Final let alone one with my beloved Melbourne Football Club in it. Still pinching myself that we’re in it after so many years of mediocrity punctuated by false dawns.

I have a priority 1 GFG so I’ve got access to a ticket.  Don’t want it to go to waste. At the moment it’s offered to my cousin who is a teacher in a remote Aboriginal community in the Kimberley.  He’s understandably got a few travel logistics to get sorted before he can attend. I understand the WA school term finishes the day before the game, so it’s an additional level of complication. If he gets there, needless to say he’ll cheer red and blue.

This is a bit backwards but I’m going to purchase the ticket for him on the assumption that he can go. I’ll aim to purchase a “cheaper” ticket (category 4/5/6) near the Dees cheer squad.

If he can’t sort out his travel then I’ll be on the wrong side of border restrictions, having paid for a GFG and GF ticket. Not the smartest hey but my decision-making is clouded by grand final fever at the moment.

TL DR: I’ll potentially have a ticket for sale/purchase in a few days.

Good luck with ticket purchases today and GO DEES

Hi all - still trying to get 2 Cat 1 barcodes.

Son and his cousins hoping to escort their old man and ensure he doesn't have a heart attack - one a 5th year med student. Hopefully they can sit with me.

All from Tasmania - all have flights booked already. G2G pass attached.

Go Demons

Round 12 kicks off with the Brisbane hosting Essendon at the Gabba as the Lions aim to solidify their top-two position against an injury-hit Bombers side seeking to maintain momentum after a win over Richmond. On Friday night it's a blockbuster at the G as the Magpies look to extend their top of the table winning streak while the Hawks strive to bounce back from a couple of recent defeats and stay in contention for the Top 4. On Saturday the Suns, buoyed by 3 wins on the trot, face the Dockers in a clash crucial for both teams' aspirations this season. The Suns want to solidify their Top 4 standing whilst the Dockers will be desperate to break into the 8.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
