If anyone was  offended (particular South aussies who follow the dees)  with some of my rants after the game re drone striking adelaide etc  I am sorry  Just venting after a shock loss.  I actually like travelling to Adelaide (go regularly to rock shows) and the people there are friendly.  Crows were good Sat night (not crows fault  umpire froze) we were a bit down on form...................Now for friday night

Agree 100% with you on the drone strikes, long overdue I say.

I wouldn't worry too much, I doubt anyone really thought you wanted the city of churches turned into Fallujah.

Understand, comments like drone strike (or when someone says I could have killed them) are a sign of your passion and not your intent.......

Wouldn't mind a drone strike on Optus stadium. After my experiences over there at the 2018 prelim i have flashbacks and PTSD every time it appears on screen. That place needs to be wiped off the map.

All good coz even Adelaidians bag Adelaide. Case in point: I had to do hotel quarantine in Adelaide last year coz Melbz wasn’t taking in OS flights. On my last day as I left the hotel I told one of the cops guarding the door that I had eight hours to kill before my flight and since I’d never been in Adelaide I asked him if he could suggest what places of interest I should visit etc. He said, “yeah no worries, I can do that. But what are you gonna do for the other seven and a half hours?” ?

Right.

And maybe can we can add passion to the intent and outcome debate.

Let’s see how Christian handles that one!

If it makes you feel any better I had to roam around a large public event in Adelaide (pedal Prix) on Sunday, and I wore my normal attire ( demons hat, tshirt and jumper).

I copped it all day!

I used to get over there for gigs as well, even a festival or 2 back in the day. Was going over for Faith No More last year until the stuff happened :(

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
