My what ever words are necessary about Joeboy and “supporters” like him

Joeboy. Lacks constructive thoughts but serves a purpose when he checks his facts.

RobboKing: little to offer and lacks a spell checker.

Redleg: not able to support to save his life

Rivers Run Red: man of few words

Drdrake: bad sport, walked out on his team.

Deestroy06: bags his team and the umpires. Unhappy chappy.

DazzleDavey36: Deestoys06 little echo. But fortunately agrees with Pringle

Diesel: Another deserter who claims to be a fan.

Lord Travis: pompous know it all.

Jaded :the first to offer positives with some constructive advice.

Belzebub59 :can only offer sarcasm.

Dee’viator: another echo and character assassinator .

Bobby McKenzie: Offers alternative thoughts to the critical ones

J Demon. Prepared to offer another view under guise of supporter.

Melbournefc: An embarrassment …a supporter who does not support

TonyMelb…more of the same…no help at all

Jacey: Blame, Blame and more blame

Rusty Kingswood: Must have typed his notes from his Year 3 classroom.

Pepe Dee Pew: Offered a glimmer of hope after criticism

Classy Dees: another who gets his kicks from the bad luck of others

Wrathchild: Couldn’t see a positive if it poked him in the face.

White stallion: Another smart alec!!

PRINGLE: THE ONLY ONE WITH AN OUNCE OF COMMON SENSE

Now before you all get on your high horses because someone dared to put you in the position you put players in every day remember how you felt when reading this.

Toxic comments are pointless and serve no purpose except to boost the ego of someone wishing to lift their own self esteem by putting others down. Offer help by all means, wonder why etc but what most of you offered was sad One can only hope none of the team read your comments.

I bet none of our boys deliberately tried to lose the game. They are a hard working dedicated group of fellows and they will no doubt lose a few more games as the year rolls on.

Wouldn’t you rather they did it knowing they still had your full support and encouragement in the bad times and not just when they win. Anyone can jump on a winner’s bandwagon but a true member supports through thick and thin. Try it. Might make a pleasant change.

Looks like you have this part well and truly covered, feeling a little insecure are we?

I've gotta say mate. I'm very disappointed at being overlooked here. Surely I have a shot at the 22 in my second season?

Maybe I'll just double my word count just to get noticed?...

Would you like a tissue?

It is LOVELY to be mentioned alongside the demonland elite. Having my name up in lights with greats like lord travis and my good mate Jacey is truely an honour. I am speechless!

Glad my negativity gets up your nose Litte Lucifer. By the way, do you ever read any of the POSITIVES that some of these great posters (inlcuding myself) post?- I doubt it.

Dappa Dan, No love for you?? Maybe throw a "Lets trade brock" at the end of each post, that will get you noticed!!

(For the record, brock should never be traded......unless for chuck norris)

Yep. Not good enough eh? Quick note for anyone planning on referring to this subject, next time you go writing stuff about demonland posters check out who's had the highest amount of posts. A Bronze medal I wear with pride in my heart.

Dappa Dan, you know I am your number #! fan.

If anyone should get an honourable, or in the case of the orignal post, dishonourable mention, you should ALWAYS be up there!

In fact, we should now pass a law. If "posters" are being "analysed", all old school posters ( your 1000+ers) should be given an automatic mention.

occo....alas...a little lucifer is a little peeved. Over what who knows..who cares. you see apparently a true Melbourne supporter has no wits about them, no capacity for apprasial, no obligation to reality. They just have to jump up and down and wave things red and blue.

Still its amusing isnt it

Do me! Do me!

Actually, Trey Parker already did me in Orgazmo:

Wrath, you're a gentelman and a scholar.

Long live demonland.

Bub. I thought that was pretty funny.

Oh and Little Lucifer, for what it's worth, I admire your loyalty. But trust me, we really are behind the demons despite it all. Nobody's off them just yet, but I reckon even the players would be willing to cop a fair bit of flack for what they put up on Friday. Hopefully the noise we make as supporters makes a difference, and they feel the fire in their bellies to prove us all wrong. That would make me a very happy man.

This type of thread comes up from time to time when the club has a disappointing loss but I ask Little Lucifer what do you expect?

If the supporters lacked passion to the extent that all they did after such a loss was clap the team off the ground with a "well done boys" then we would really be in trouble. We lost and some of the posters are expressing their feelings. That is exactly what I understand this sort of a forum was all about.

I don't like some of the nasty sniping that happens on this and all supporter sites but I can assure you that we are far from the worst. All I can say is heaven help us if the coach and players were all beyond criticism.

pity we lost our counts when the old site went, i'd be well over 1000 now...

Firstly, I am female so if I must be summed up in a few words, I would prefer them to be 'unhappy lass' rather than 'unhappy chappy.'

Secondly, I'd like to 'echo' Rolling Stone's sentiments, all of which I completely agree with. What satisfaction would we get out of an awesome win if we didn't feel disappointed and angry when we lose like we did on Friday? As Rolling Stone points out, this is a forum for us supporters, and don't even begin to try to tell us that we're not, to express our feelings, opinions etc.

On a more personal note, I barely even post. If you look at what I have posted, you'll actually find that they're mostly from that true or false game that was going on last year....which would mean that you're judging me on what, 2 or 3 posts, maybe 4? Come on!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
