Well , and as u all know I am a HUGE Clarry Choo Choo fan but......

If he is not signed early in the season...

I reckon he will go!

If MFC are fair dinkum they will offer in Xcess of what Viney and Max have been offered coz  I believe he is Our best player ! Yep better than Max and far better than Viney!! I can just see him walking if he doesnt get an offer in xcess of anyone else.

And if so......It will be really tragic for a lot of reasons!

Might be eventually but he needs to be more damaging, doesn’t hurt the opposition enough with his use. That’s not calling him a dud, it’s just something he needs to go from where he is now to being able one of the competitions elite. For me Trac has got there, Clarry not quite yet.

I also agree that I’ll sleep better once he’s signed for us!

Why do you call him Clarry Choo Choo?

Didn't you notice his game last Friday.
For  his first with Ooze in the midfield our mids were Good almost slick with Clarry having a large impact. No hot potato handballs either. That's the Clarry we want now fir another 100/200 games.

Yep when he can produce that in the H&A season then that will be his coming of age and potential. If we get that for the next 100-150 games we’ve got genuine star power through the middle.

Put your money on it, Oliver WILL sign a new 3 or 4 year contract in the coming days.

Gawn signing has definitely been a key reason for him to put pen to paper now.

I have followed the Mighty Demons for 65 or more years.   Yes I am TBO.

I cannot think of another player that has had a better first 100 games than  Clayton O.

Robbie F was fantastic, and so consistently great, for a longer period. Clayton might reach that level for us and I hope he does.

He certainly has the potential to be one of the very best.   I hope he reaches an agreement and stays to become that great player.

Go Dees, good luck monday to Clayton and all the others.

Agree but see no reason why he won't .

Sort of  follows Up what Gawny said about team football and some sort of selfishness in the mids group last year was apparent.

If they play like last Friday thsts the team play that should be non negotiable.

Clarry led the way last week and can co tubule in that role. Trac does  his football naturally now and is a team player of class.

Needs to be locked to a contract at all costs, matching his further development, of course. He does need to damage opposition sides more - at present - and maybe this could be achieved if he was permitted to go 'goalward' more frequently and 'run out the ball' just those few steps more often. He can kick beautifully in 'found' space. For example, this is where Gus can be lethal to opponents, quite frequently.  Clarry and Trac, both on a par with each other and both the best in the League in their roles.

  • REPORT: Geelong

I was disappointed to hear Goody say at his post match presser after the team’s 39 point defeat against Geelong that "we're getting high quality entry, just poor execution" because Melbourne’s problems extend far beyond that after its 0 - 4 start to the 2025 football season. There are clearly problems with poor execution, some of which were evident well before the current season and were in play when the Demons met the Cats in early May last year and beat them in a near top-of-the-table clash that saw both sides sitting comfortably in the top four after round eight. Since that game, the Demons’ performances have been positively Third World with only five wins in 19 games with a no longer majestic midfield and a dysfunctional forward line that has become too easy for opposing coaches to counter. This is an area of their game that is currently being played out as if they were all completely panic-stricken.

  • PREGAME: Essendon

Facing the very real and daunting prospect of starting the season with five straight losses, the Demons head to South Australia for the annual Gather Round, where they’ll take on the Bombers in search of their first win of the year. Who comes in, and who comes out?

  • NON-MFC: Round 04

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ‘G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Saturday night sees North Melbourne take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium, with the Swans looking to build on their first win of the season last week against a rebuilding Roos outfit. Sunday’s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons besides us winning?

  • POSTGAME: Geelong

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.
