Half Time

Geelong 3.10.28

Melbourne 2.7.19

Very average game

Miller persenting well at CHF

Wow

Either its blowing a gale, or both teams are still rusty even after 4 weeks of practice matches

I hope it is the former

Thats alright, good hear Miller is doing something. Wish pickett hadn't been droped. Only nine points down is pretty good for Skilled Stadium.

I wouldn't be surpised if we lost nor would I care!

Fan (the performer formerly known as Deefan) is down at Skilled Stadium and has confirmed that Bruce, Green, Junior and Pickett are not playing. Brad Miller has been excellent and the others doing well are Trav, Beamer, Jones, Bell, Robbo & CJ.

Fan has this new phone and I'm not certain that he's got the drift of it yet so I'm not sure what else we're going to get in terms of reports.

SEN's half time report - scrappy affair. Confirmed that Carroll and Yze are also not playing. Their best for Melbourne Miller, Whelan and CJ.

CJ will be a star

Definite best 22, and a way better option than any of Yze, Ward, Brown or Wheatley

Geelong has kicked the first goal of the second half - 4.10.34 to 2.5.17.

(If anyone's interested Hawks thrashing Essendon and Hodge has been reported for allegedly striking Lloyd)

A 2 week suspension would be nice ;)

jeez i hope chooka Mclean doesn't get injured! onething i have been worried about so far

Geelong 7.13.55 Melbourne 6.8.44. Fan confirms the wind is very strong and we have it in the last. Jones was very good in that quarter and Bate got into it as well after a slow start. Mooney is killing Benny Holland at CHF. Moloney doing well and Miller continues to play strongly at CHF.

SEN reports that the third term was a bit more spirited from both sides with the Cats holding that 11 point edge at the break. David Johnson took a heavy bump from Travis Johnstone but he's OK and there wasn't much in the bump. Cam Mooney kicked a couple of the third term goals and Robbo has three for the day so far.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
