i would register my name SWYL if i wanted such a jumper.
I was never a fan of the Gardner Robot Demon!!!

Do I interpret that to mean there will be two different jumpers produced? If so, wouldn't that diminish the value of the jumper?

Mind you, Rick Milne has a small piece each Saturday in The Age where he values sporting memorabilia. It's fair to say according to his advice that most sporting memorabilia produced today doesn't have much value, at least in a monetary sense. I also appreciate that many people buy memorabilia for the same reason they buy memberships - that is to support the club financially.

I’m not sure mate but I’m one who just buys it to support the club not to make a financial gain.

Any one know what the donations total is?  Can't seem to find it on the website.  iirc the goal was $1.0m by Christmas.

The web site has very little on anything LH, no info on training times, player injuries, nothing but a few fluff pieces. This is in my IMO the result of reduced staff levels. 2021 will see us with less info than normal from the site. We will have to work around it for info.

You'd be better off buying RCL (Readcloud) shares.

Or maybe the club doesn't want to say if we missed the $1m target (before Christmas) by some margin.  Otherwise I see no reason to not put it on the website - they put stuff and fluff up for all sorts of things.

The $1m was a key part of being a 'non-assisted' AFL club.  They might be a good questions to ask tomorrow night...btw any idea how questions are asked tomorrow night.

You have to send them in on a form from the original email. You had to nominate if you wanted that part and they would send a log in address. So far with 24 hours to go I have not received anything. I will ring them tomorrow if nothing turns up by mid morning.

Well it is 9.30 on the morning of the Zoom and no email as yet. I hope I am wrong but this looks like disaster written all over it. I will ring a bit later. Trying to think positive.

Thanks od.

I looked at the emails from the club and they said 'Registrations' close on Dec 8.  No idea if that is significant.  There isn't much on the website.

I guess it is now too late to ask questions.

Staffing levels aside, the fan forum is far too important for the club to not post updates/reminders/question forms on the website rather than makes us trawl thru emails or make phone calls.

See below LH

Does not start to 6.30 so even being sent at 5.30 or 6.00 would be fine.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
