Very regimented, orderly, squad-related running. Just like Kapooka, only red'n'blue! Appears to be a good sense of role, function, association, man-to-man identity, purposeful and controlled. Wish I was there...nice video.

I got there at 9:05 and they were already training. Didn't see Melksham at all the rest were there. Into rehab was Jones not sure if it was a light day for him or not. Out of rehab O.Mac, Jetta, Petracca, Hunt, T.Smith, Hore and Harmes.

It was just a light session based on skills no real contact work or match simulations. Maynard copped a knock to the hip that needed attention but seemed fine afterwards.

Clarry will be back on the 4th of Feb the rest can't be too long, Hannan had no strapping to his knee which is a positive.

Plus, Weideman and Preuss are champing at the bit, Hunt is on fire with improved teamplay skills and passing, Stretch is up and about and running, driving the ball ever-forward with pace.

...and sulky puss is gone....

Anyone got any concrete info about Gus? Why the rehab?

The AFL has stepped in and said that we've got to give other players a chance at winning this years brownlow

Thanks for the training fix guys.

AFL website reporting that Brayshaw had a niggling back injury but is nearing full training.

Think its good players dont reveal their injuries to questions by supporters. Only provides information for the opposition. Hope the club tells them to be discreet.

One other player who I didn’t pick up (and it could be because of his size) was Charlie Spargo - did you notice him?

Charlie definitely trained WJ. Got a photo with the kids afterwards.

Spargo was there he made a mistake during drills and the whole group had to do 10 push ups. I don't think Walker was there.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
