Each venue has its own ticketing agent.  That said, it is not good enough for the AFL not to demand improvements. These companies make an absolute fortune from selling AFL tickets. If the AFL were serious they could sell their own tickets and cut out the middle man.

Not sure they are up to the task poita just look at a few of there other disasters over the years.

Easy to let it out and blame them Gil is the perfect PP.

How long were you in the queue for?

Rumour going around that Richmond members got tickets and ended up being for the Melbourne v Geelong game. Anyone else hear that?

That’s what I’m thinking! I just heard it so thought I’d share but if that’s what actually happened then I’m packing my stuff and heading to the snow. Stressing me out.

No way????? Richmond fans were filthy as it was at the ticketek outlet, as all they were able to get was the nosebleed section regardless what category they requested. They had to cop it on the chin.

I have been in twice now and I still can't purchase 2 lousy tickets.    They keep saying there are not enough tickets.

I got through  around 11:50, hung around in the queue and refreshed until 12:00. Pretty quick once in. 8 seats in MCC done.

Couldnt pick seats like normally. Automatically allocated.

Got them!!!

The next thing we will hear is that the game did not attract  big numbers so it will be at AFL house next year because Dees supporters don't go in big enough numbers.

Honestly doubt what I heard is true BUT this is all becoming ridiculous!!

I'm in the queue for MCC tickets when I was on-line at 12 noon. Ropeable.

Good to hear jr enjoy mate i think I am destined for the TV.

life was better when we didn't make finals

before the suspension i finally got on, found some tickets, got payment details, seemed to accept then it said no confirmation available then timed me out. later checked order details, nothing there.

back in the queue, waited through suspension, finally back on, couldn't find a cat  2 or 3 or 4 ticket (didn't check nose bleed level). I can't believe that, but that's what happened

i've given up after 3 1/2 frustrating hours. the afl and ticketek can stick their finals up their collective a...holes

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?
