SFebes 4,884 Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Stretch and before that Clark and Trengove. All under Missons watch? Quote
Wells 11 5,502 Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 really disturbing. Is there ANY other club having the same type of foot issues? It does seems like its particular to us and, if so, must in some way to the way we prepare/ train...or the surface itself. Unless its just horrible luck. I hope they're investigating, because if Oliver, Gawn, or Brayshaw go down with something similar there could be riot ...and I'll be at the front of it. Quote
pewpewpew 742 Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Don't forget the surface of Gosch's Paddock. There has to be a correlation to the surface and the spate of foot injuries over the past few years. Quote
Hot as Hell 466 Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Does vanders qualify to be part of this elite list? Absent extreme coincidence or bad luck (both unlikely), one must assume there is something that we are doing at training or the site of our training. Surely some sort of enquiry will be made by the footy dept to get to the bottom of this most troubling foot injury syndrome. Quote
ProperDee 1,698 Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Too much repeat exercise on hard surfaces is the prime suspect according to the missus (GP). Quote
Demon Jack 7,194 Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Don't forget Tim Smith last year as well. Quote
jules7 816 Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 It is definitely associated with overuse, they definitely need to look at training loads. Have had a lot of experience with these injuries in association with basketball. 2 Quote

darkhorse72 1,943 Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Its hard to judge compared to other clubs, but at a glance it seems we have far more than we should. Did the pies have problems before us at our training venue? I don't remember any reports. So it must be another cause, or simply poor physical mechanics in our players that we need a biomechanical to fix ASAP. Quote
