Haven’t been able to watch the match unfortunately.  Have the commentators mentioned if Charlie Curnow might be out there playing..?

Haha.  It was gold though, I literally did not catch a word of it.  The Dylan Roberton effort was slightly better.

I can't believe how confidently they are saying Harry what his name will be a good player based on being quick and going back with the flight.

I turned off after watching the third replay of Harry McKay hitting the post and the commentary team telling me how exciting it was.

Thanks AFL.

Had enough and switching to the Tour de France.

Thank channel 7. Apparently it is their decision who plays the prime time Friday night slot

At half time, King and Zaharakis pointed out a couple of occasions where Carlton players would turn looking for a handball to a runner that wasn't there, and since then I can't stop seeing it happen to them.  They always look like they've got one less player at the contests than they were expecting or something.  At least these days when we've got the ball, you'd back us in to keep it move it forward.  I'd have a heart attack every time I saw a hot ball if I barracked for this lot.

Jed Lamb living up to the legacy of former Carlton greats by being an eye gouger  and then topping it off by kneeing someone in the back.

What a class act he is. ?

Lamb reminds me a lot of a bloke we sadly have playing for us ??

What a crap match. I've watch suburban games that have held more interest

Agree. Carlton have also waved the white flag, which definitely hasn't helped. Bed sounds inviting.

Well, if we have any Demonlanders living in NZ, they can officially start the Game Day thread.

Is Carlton the new "yesterday" demons? Perhaps Bolton and Neeld are secretly related?  Then again we received more smashings in a footy year than the blues.

Oh, right. Still don't know who you mean, but I thought you were talking about players who had "pest" but not much in the way of ability to back it up.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
