KC from Casey 7,211 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Keilty has taken some strong marks in defence this quarter. 2 Quote
Diamond_Jim 12,772 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Balic had a bright start to the season and while he has played okay for the last few weeks his game seems to have plateaued. He needs to move it up a notch to give himself real chance. Looking forward to dominant second half of the season from him. 1 Quote
KC from Casey 7,211 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Pies goal and they trail by exactly three goals at the 22 minute mark. 1 Quote
KC from Casey 7,211 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Another goal to Collingwood and its an 11 point game. Could they steal it? 1 Quote
Beetle 4,739 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 These umpires are making rubbish push in the back calls. No way that was a free to Balic. 1 Quote
whatwhat say what 23,836 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 how on earth did frost manage to not kick that? dees have dominated everywhere but the scoreboard; pies accuracy all that has kept them in it Quote
KC from Casey 7,211 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 The umpires strike - in Casey’s favour and Balic takes advantage. Casey leads by 17 points. 1 Quote
DSP 1,488 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 (edited) I like the look of Petty. Baker has a crack, as does Balic. Tyson, Frost and Bugg wont be returning anytime soon. Edited June 9, 2018 by DSP Quote

Surely the absence of both Stretch and Garlett means that one of them, presumably Jeffy, is playing on Monday instead of Hannan? 2 Quote
DemonDave 1,099 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 2 last quarter goals from Balic papers over the cracks that he's had a stinker today. Also just the 13 possessions for Hunt. His career really treading water right now Quote

Great to see Casey play the same high pressure contested footy as our firsts. Everyone is singing from the same songbook at last. Yeah Chook. Been thinking the same thing over the last 6 weeks. It's starting to click into place 1 Quote

Hannan has a fitness test on Sunday IIRC PS... sorry as Beetle points out below it's Melksham Edited June 9, 2018 by Diamond_Jim 1 Quote

TeamPlayedFine39 8,525 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Balic was signed to a one year contract. For those who’ve seen him at VFL level this year, do we extend? 1 Quote
KC from Casey 7,211 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Great movement forward ends with a goal to Oskar Baker. 1 Quote

Not for mine. He's one of those Viv Michie/Ben Newton/Shane Valenti type of players who will display quite a few tricks at VFL level but inevitably won't bridge that gap to AFL standard 2 Quote

Dee-licious 1,954 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Weid could have had a few. Had two lace out passes that he was cut in front of by JKH and Balic. Quiet first half but worked his way into the game nicely. Was Hunt tagged? Just really felt he couldn’t get into the game at all. And on the balic debate. He’ll be extended. Looks too good to just let him leave. 3 Quote
What 18,810 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Baker, Petty, Spargo and Fritsch... Jason Taylor has cleaned up at the draft once again. Tyson played like he really wants back in the senior team. Casey will win the flag. 2 1 Quote
Devil In Disguise 2,284 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 JKH had a great game too. Tyson probably BOG. 3 Quote
