I've watched it probably 20 times, those last 5 minutes.

Our will to win and to just keep pushing...as good as I've seen in the past decade.

Even watching it live, you could just sense that we were going to break through.

The things I said at the ground to the smug Eagles supporters when that final siren blew it's a wonder I didn't get my head punched in.

Good times.

And then the bastards stole our finals spot in the last game of the season.

So frustrating.

Nah, a mate couldn’t go so he gave me his and his missus’ Eagles member seats. Was right in the thick of the imbeciles. It was glorious.

I initially read quarter final vs WCE last year and was disappointed all over again.

No they did not steal anything from us : we managed to forfeit it all on our own and I hope we never ever forget!

Pedo was supreme in the final term.

He often is supreme. It is not hard to remember what that man can do when he is the only one appearing to be motivated.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
