2017 Player Reviews: # 8 Heritier Lumumba

0 turnovers for the year, come back, please?

The guy is a [censored] of the highest order, and I'm so glad he is finally off our list. He was nothing but a parasite from the moment he walked through the door.

For all the good work he did with the club, Roos really screwed us over by giving this bloke a four year deal on good money.

What a story.

A story of putrid crap.

I can't figure out this guy's agenda after watching the Fair Game doco. Spent the whole time putting down the Collingwood Footy Club and then the only thing close to a mention of us was at the end when it said he was 'traded to another club' at the end of 2014. I feel like the guy holds both clubs in contempt and although I respect where he's come from and even his views I really don't have time for this guy.

Just another x pie that we picked that was not worth a bumper.

we fall for their cast offs every time.

FD can you please stay away from all at the CFC!

Pretty true, though (ancient history) didn't Peter Moore win a Downlow for us after moving across.

However I can't think of even one more ever.

One a century is hardly a great success rate mono.

Not everything in football is Black and White and thank god for that as anything coming in that packaging seems to melt into the grey and you end up with 50 shades of nothing !!

The enigmatic  and most often misunderstood ( just ask him) Heretier Lumumba  came to the Dees with promises of electrifying  football.  Very quickly he managed to short himself out but it wasn't his fault ( again just ask him ) . Those Grey clouds circled and all was not good for H.  Who could forget his mesmerising dancing, knee high running on the spot ?? Apparently nearly everyone. Ol Harry Highpants as he was affectionately known ( among other names ...again...just ask him ) just couldn't find his Mojo nomo !!

Here's to you Harry...you came, you did sweet f all and you left..( too late )

God bless you for handing back #8 ( eventually )   We'll probably retire it now...well fumigate it first.

We all have problems and one of ours was you.

Would've been better off with a straight swap for Varcoe in hindsight

Not sure Geelong would agree with that (not that I really care).

It would be a pretty tight contest for worst bloke between Heritier and Mitch.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
