Round 22 - Non MFC Games

Say want you want about the score review, but I think it's impressive they can relay images from the Hubble telescope so quickly.

Dogs getting looked after beautifully by the umps from what I've seen.

Have we had any results go our way all year?

Razor seriously.

FML, Boak and Grey both shat themselves with chances at goal then. Port now trailing into the last quarter.

Q2 showed the wind is no great advantage for Port, similar to how we blew the North game in Q4 despite having the wind. Would be nice if Port proved me wrong here or we'll really have our backs against the wall next week.

Scores level between Port and Dogs.

Gonna have to do this the hard way.

I always liked Charlie Dixon.

Razor killing us.

Im sorry but I actually want the dogs to win just to keep that door a little closed for essenscum do they cant get in.

Gee the cats wouldn't want to let this game slip. If they want to be serious contenders they should win this. Show people they can win without selwood

If doggies & WCE lose and we win tomorrow it makes it VERY hard for us not to make the 8

Port 12 points in front. Few minutes left.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
