MRP - Murphy's 'Slap' on Viney

Featured Replies

Disappointed this wasn't picked up by the MRP - felt it was worth 1-2 - head is sacrosanct, deliberate and wilful act. You can't touch my Jack!

I guess if it was chess or darts, then yes, two matches.

If you get suspended for that then it's time to give up footy

Give it time.

Carlton are questioning the MRP as to why Viney was not suspended after his head hurt Murphy's hand.

Did Hogan get fined $1000? I read it on facebook but couldn't find anything on it after a quick skim of the AFL site.

Was one of the first plays of the game. Our Hoges was super keen, strafing the ball up in the centre, ran straight into the umpire and I think he flew about 5 feet. Hogan got straight up, never taking his eye off the ball at any point. I think he just assumed it was a player he'd run over. Was like a mack truck hitting a mini.
