I'm glad the MFC got a licence, but it's a mickey mouse preseason comp that has little interest to me and certainly has nothing to do with the main aim and game, which is the 2017 Home & Away season.  If you have Daisy then I suppose you need the women's coach too ?

It's not something I'm overly concerned about, just an opinion.

As the father of a little girl who now has an interest in footy purely because of the women's comp I strongly disagree.

But obviously that doesn't stop you from having your own opinion which is different to mine.

Great work. Elvis at full forward no doubt. Hitchcock as coach, Trump as the mascot, Eraserhead at full back and Wolverine in the ruck. Even in this bunch Gysberts is on the bench.

Jack Nance would have to be in the engine room (midfield).

Already:

Gawn, Hunt, Hogan

My preferred final 7:

Jones, Oliver, Petracca, Brayshaw, Viney, Tyson, Goodwin

It's all about the future for me.

I see no reason for Pearce being on the banner.

You said it

"Its all about the future for me"

Demonland are proud sponsors of Jayden Hunt and Josh Wagner and as such they are both on the banner.

Wagner a solid choice.

Perhaps next year.

Wait until he has earned it. A flag will do the trick.

If we get a flag I'll change everyones avatar to his face.

Now that would be gold, I'll hold you to it.

Only if he is wearing the rams helmet!!!

loving how CP5 was mentioned by some at number 7 in the line up and yet he is number 3 - keep the mysteries coming!

The order that the players are in has no bearing on anything. The aesthetics of the "poses" and direction they are facing were more a factor in the positions of the final lineup.

Knowing who someone is by their silhouette is my super power.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
