Do it without the fucken umpire Dees.

Head count. They have 21 on the ground.

Stay strong youngsters, I'm so proud of our boys. Remember, when dees didn't show heart? They are today...

Will be proud either way from here but Hawthorn will find a way like they always [censored] do.

Harmes' disposal is diabolical.

This has been our best game for the year with our youngest side.

It would be immense to win. Need Garlett to lift and kick a couple

Cyril will rip us one this quarter

Just win this quarter by 1 point...

Id need to double the dose of nearly everything if we are holding on to a one point lead:)

If we shut down Cyril and Smith, we win.

Or lose it by five.

No he wont...

Pedo panicked then

I'm stepping out, can't watch this. I just know the umpires will [censored] us over and gift Hawthorn the win.

But credit to the youngest team we've put out in Roos' tenure; made me very proud today with this display.

What needs Jesse Hogan...

It would be alarming if our only really massive wins in two years came without him in the team.

We look very dangerous going forward. Just fluffing the final kick.

Harmes just had to hit that target.

Two goal lead would have been extremely handy at this point.

Lol Rioli spear tackle and the commentators laugh...

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
