Once again over handballing costs us a game.

That and bad set shot kicking.

Jones the worst culprit by hand. He creates more for the opposition..needs a stint at Casey

66 inside 50's to 37.

Dont blame the umpires, blame that stat.

Heartbreaking.

Standing by for the Paul Roos "Experience and We don't have a Paddy Dangerfield" Special

the usual hollow feeling

I don't want to hear that we are getting better........... WCE played badly....... we should have won by five goals

Luke Shuey should be shot, all 3 umpires too.

Inside 50s - 66 - 37, our way.

Our backline sucks.

Fair few disappointing players today. McDonald brothers poor in different ways, Hogan uncompetitive, Vince stupid, Tyson wasteful, Wagner and OMac just not strong enough.

robbed....even with ned kelly on our side

10-2 free kicks in the last quarter. disgraceful

We got a big run in the first quarter.

Umpires had nothing to do with the result.

Umpires were disgraceful but this club is too weak to raise it.

Shot ourselves in the foot with woeful ball use. Again. Same old same old.

Cannot remember the last time I was this heartbroken over a loss.

Time to get drunk and forget all about this club for a while.

66 inside 50's to 37.

That is an absolute indictment on our coaches, our playing list, the entire team. [censored] disgraceful.

This CLUB does not value Victory High Enough...

no excuse today

They do not learn...

No excuses should have been 4 or 5 goals up at 3/4 time but couldn't buy a goal but gave so many freebies to them

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
