Hulett has just kicked his 2nd goal.

Developing well is Liam.

This kid is a real smokie. Taylor may be laughing in a couple of years.

I won't be able to make it to Ballarat today.

If there are any Demon fans living out that way who are going, your input would be appreciated.

I will try to relay scores as I get them. Hopefully, the Casey Twitter people will be on the job to provide regular updates.

I live here and couldn't make it today, sorry!

Newton just kicked another.

Garland seems to be having a pretty solid game too. I'm seeing his name mentioned quite a lot on the feed.  He's setting up a lot of attacks.

A question for the guys who watch have seen the reserves; Max King- Is he a chance to make it? or is he just filling a spot on the list till the end of the year?

Disagree.

It's a conundrum.  If he comes good he'll be a handy weapon given his disposal.  However he remains a stick figure after two and a half years on the list.  Is he the classic slow-developing ruck, or is he another Cale Morton?  I guess we'll find out either at the end of this year or in a few years time.

Spoke to him earlier this year and he is now 202cms and he said one of his main targets is to put muscle on over the next couple of years.

These blokes who can ruck and play forward and kick goals don't grow on trees. He will be given time. We gave plenty who will go before him.

That approach didnt work with Gawn so why repeat the same mistake......oh wait...

Good to see Brayshaw with 13 disposals and 1 goal.

Hulett with 11 disposals and 3 goals is impressive.

Hulett - Melbourne v Fremantle July 7th - play him

Hope they give Garlett a run on the ball. He needs some touches to find form and confidence

Anyone know which emergencies traveled to Sydney?

Also,  fantastic from the scorps today.  Great response after last week.

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?
