Eleven Pies players test positive to illicit substances

My God, this is such a storm in the tea cup.

I can confirm that the Collingwood players only tested positive to using toothpaste,  something that has been banned at the club for over 50 years.

On the other hand sterident use is encouraged

yes, you are misunderstanding me.

there are too many execs (either club, afl, media, major suppliers/contractors, business partners, etc) with multiple cross connections. it's an incestuous mates club full of conflicts of interest and far from transparent.

Thanks for re-directing me. With respect to those in the media with multiple roles, I often wonder who they consider to be their prime employer. For example, would Mark Robinson ever break a news story on SEN or Fox or does he only do so in the Herald Sun? Similarly, would Caro bring up a new newsworthy matter on Footy Classified, Offsiders or 3AW or reserve her best material for The Age? And it's not just them. Mick Warner, Gerald Whatley and Rohan Connolly (and many others) have multiple roles.

Club officials and coaches with media roles (eg. Eddie M, J Brayshaw, Bucks) have a massive conflict of interest as well. Usually, they attempt to minimise or deflect the original point or fact of a story if it shows their club in a negative light. That is, until there is photographic proof and/or public sentiment forces them to act.

worse than that mable, eddie also has financial interests in other footy related services including some with afl board members. and eddie is not alone in that spiders web.

Loved the way both Buckley and Scott took him apart. As hard as it is to say, the more I hear Buckley speak the more respect I have for the guy. I don't know whether he can coach or not, but he is a damn good communicator.

Buckley was an excellent "special comments" presenter on radio in between his playing and coaching days. He is both astute and articulate.

Coke is both a recreational drug and a performance enhancer.Should be dealt with as such.(Mike)Tyson admitted that he was coked up for nearly every fight. But the media will not push for this as it would make hypocrites of them all.
