Plus Joel's 3 premierships as well. Its quite a record.

But well done to Nathan. he is been a tower of strength over the past through years and carried this team through the lean years. He never stopped trying and putting his head over the ball.

Its a shame the game wasnt in melbourne but cant help that. Would be nice to see the boys lift for there skipper.

also has Jonsey been recognised in the media for his milestone. this week. I have been away. I hope he has.

Barely a whisper from the media (aside from the MFC site).

3 flags. 8 finals series. 21 finals.

Jones has 0 flags, 1 finals series, 2 finals.

Jones is also the 19th most losing-est player out of all current players (24.37% winning record). Such a stat is usually skewed towards those who haven't played many games (e.g. Giles in worst with 9 wins from 54 games). There are only two players in the top 20 who have played 100 games. One is Garland, on 133. The other is Jones, on 199.

Selwood, on the other hand, is the 7th most winning-est player out of all current players (77.48% winning record).

You wouldn't blame Jones for having just a tiny bit of jealousy.

Best wishes Chunk. Here's hoping his 200th inspires the troops to a memorable performance.

There's no way he shouldn't play this week. What an overtly poor message that would send from the club.

Surely the team will turn up to play tomorrow and to play bloody hard! It would be insulting to Nathan if they did otherwise. Well done Jonesy, you are a true legend of the club.

A fine player who always gives his all - well done on your 200th Nathan.

Well done Jonesy I will be there to see you reach the milestone as I was in your second and last final back in 06 (seems a lifetime ago).

I just hope the boys lift for you today and give you the performance your services to the club deserve

All the best Chunk

Just finished reading todays Age and HS - not a word. That's disappointing but typical,

Well, a premiership by 300 is a reasonable aim.

Maybe even in his actual 300th - 20ish games a season for 5 years should land it at about the right time.

Obviously the fact that his 300th game will be such a triumph is the reason nobody in the media feels a need to talk up his 200th.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
