Trade radio says GWS giving up 4 and 7!

Surely not, that's MASSIVE overs for Griffen given his age.

I know he's a great player, but surely too old for those picks.

How did GWS get 7? Trade another youngster, lol what a joke they are.

Woah!

This is like Jones walking out on Melbourne. I just felt like throwing up just thinking about it.

Feel bad for the Doggies. I have a soft spot for them.

Griffen today, Dangerfield tomorrow. Al gets lost in the wash?

Don't feel bad for them Jaded, it's dog eat dog now. We won't get any more "favours" after getting 3 for Frawley. From this point on its death to all other clubs. [censored] em!

The Dogs are in big trouble now...

Senior players walking to get away

theres more to this surely... Big fallings out. ??

So Griffin and Cooney both want out.

What was the deal with Liam Jones? Did the doggies want to trade him or did he want out?

Either way, 2 of their most senior players requesting trades is a disaster.

reported that gws will offer up 4 and 7 for him.. would that open the door for a trade for treloar? they'd want a high pick to ensure quality amongst each age profile through out the list...you'd think? pick 2 or 3 would get that.

The reson Liam Jones is leaving is much like how he is on the field, he's not sure what he's doing.

GWS are after Petracca and looking to pick up Griffin will mean some of their other midfielders will certainly be thinking about what sort of game time they will be getting over the next couple of years, will definitely present an even greater opportunity to get into a couple of these guys ears about moving south.

Geez this is becoming frightening. Very scared for retaining Hogan now despite the contract extension.

I'm guessing this means the Saints are keeping pick 1 after we forced their hand with McCartin at pick 3. Interesting.

An AFL contract means nothing now.

Winning games is the only solution.

Certainly seems that way now doesn't it.

This trade period is chockers full of players requesting trades and nominating clubs. I don't remember anything quite like it before.

Our game has changed.

Enjoying your holiday Gill?

That the second captain GWS have taken off the doggies.

It makes Scully leaving small change compared to what the dogs have coped from GWS

Feel horrible for the Dogs. First Ward and barely being compensated, now their current captain. Seriously, WTF? They've taken every scrap of talent in the draft for 4 years straight and now they're taking captains from other struggling clubs.

Sorry, who was the first captain?

Ward was touted as a future captain... but not actually one.

Bit like a FIFA contract. Suarez had just penned a five year deal when he walked to Barcelona.

Griffen wants out of the dogs, give them pick 2 or 3 in exchange for Griffen and pick 5.

Then whoever we draft with the alternate pick 2 or 3 (as suggested Brayshaw) + pick 5 will surely develop better with the likes of Griffen at the club along with Jones and our other mature players.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
