Hallelujah! Jack Watts did something. And where did he do it? In the goddamn forward line! Why? Because he's a goddamn forward!

The problem is that people talk him up, and then his contribution is well below the value dictated by the passion of those that approve of him. He is awful. He is to Melbourne what Ottens was to Richmond. We have this discussion every year. He is very average.

Who is talking him up? He is the most hated footballer at our club going by this board.

Watts forward? KEEP HIM THERE! He's less of a liability.

Can we find somewhere on the ground that Watts can go where he is the least detrimental to us? Put him in the forward line. At least the ball isn't going to go there very often.

Thank you!

I just love Jetta because he competes. That's all I want. Compete for 4 quarters and go hard every contest.

Dawes missing the target is inexcusable.

Eddie said it was good kick. WTF

Dawes leads up at the ball once and gets the ball on his chest. Chris for f..sake lead up to your teammates and stop wasting time and energy running around in circles on the forward line. You are giving us nothing, zero...

This is ome of the most disgusting things I've ever seen posted here.

You're an absolute f*ckwit.

Oh princess... Settle yourself down.

More wasted opportunities.

Gawn and Vince have kicked 4 points combined. Frustrasting.

But good to see Gawny has had 3 scoring shots up until half time

I thought the same thing. I thought, "Surely he's sticking up for him as a Pies premiership player?" It was a dead awful kick.

For gods sake give the Jack Watts crap a rest. It's utter dribble. Who gives a sh!t if he's not elite, he's just a player plugging away. Do we see the same vitriol directed at Matt Jones who has contributed far less than Watts.

Bunch of one eyed haters.

No, Watts has no intensity. That's the problem. He's plugging away but it's just not in him...

Unfortunately we're still making abysmal mistakes.

JKH at one point literally stood still and watched his man run past him for the handball receive. Very lazy.

Before the game Roos took Howe and Watts aside and said something to them. Whatever it was, ome has responded nicely and one is turning in an all-too-familiar regressive performance.

Hill toyed with Barry that quarter but Barry's shown a lot so far. Another pre-season will do him wonders.

Jamar's been immense, Gawn great as a forward. When Gawn rucks though we get beaten up.

Yep every thread has the same c r a p directed at Matt Jones. Difference is Matt Jones tries his heart out every game. Can't say the sane for Watts. He's a list clogging pick 1. Sad really.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
