Free tickets to DOGSDEES @ Etihad

The WVFL has organised free tickets to the Dees vs the Dogs this weekend. Far as I can tell, the tickets give you entry for both the women's game, and the AFL match that follows! You can get two free tickets per person.

Get along and cheer on Daisy and the girls as they smash the dogs, before Jonesy and the crew belt their seniors as well! Perhaps young Bobbi will be a father-daughter recruit to the Dees AWFL* team.

Here's a link, instructions are there. You have to sign up to the dogs mailing list, and you have to be really patient with the website, but you get two free tickets so you can't complain!

*We couldn't call the new women's league WAFL, for obvious reasons, but I don't think we can call it that either!!

Just printed mine off. Thanks vm auto! nice work

Well that a match payment(less) that I am taking advantage of.

Just got my 2 then. Feel a bit bad for scamming the bulldogs but paying for 4 tickets at etihad isnt cheap so im happy to take free tickets anytime and as etihad isnt my favourite place its good not to give them money.

Anyway thanks for the heads up.

If you miss the womens game your ticket will still scan right?

Got tickets also. I probably wouldn't of gone if I didn't have free tickets. Been the last 3 weeks so was due to have a week off..

I have even sent this link on to friends who support the filth and Carlscum..

They are also going to come along, so I guess if you get a few people coming who wouldn't of normally bothered its a good result..

Or AWFL?

what, awf'l women playing footy :o..... lets hope they play well then.

... nothin' better than an AWFL "don't argue" ,,,, especially on a cold winters night @ Etihard.

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.

  • GAMEDAY: Essendon

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the  Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measly 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
