Some guys play through pain and some just refuse to, I think Dress fits Dawes perfectly.

and some guys injure themselves beyond repair. How the heck do you know how much pain Dawes or anyone is in. More armchair toughness.

I find it hard to take anyone like yourself serious when people like you backed Cameron Schwab to the last day he was in power, similar to Robbie F you have NFI about football some guys like Stynes play through pain and guys like precious Chris cant the guys a spud and that's why the pies off loaded for a pick in the 20s.

I'm sure my so-called backing of Schwab is highly relevant to issues of playing through pain. You love bringing it up almost every time you-respond to a post of mine. As if being wrong on that issue means my opinion on everything is worthless.

But the real pity is I never particularly supported Schwab, I merely pointed out when you were speculating and making statements in an arrogant manner.

You do realise the fitness staff stop guys playing with tightness yet alone actual soft tissue injuries so they don't progress. Even with his massive ability to recuperate and play through pain Jimmy wouldn't have played all those games in a row.

Calf and hamstring injuries aren't pain that can be played through.

If you're attacking Dawes at least do it correctly

Has no one heard about the clubs no risk policy?

The club wont play players that are under done - its risk management

Maybe thats why these guys aren't playing...

You don't know what he is, or isn't, going through.

And when those three you mentioned did a calf - they wouldn't play, no matter how much you misremember and glorify the recent past.

Oh, and calling someone [censored] weak for missing games through injury is pretty [censored] weak.

RFPC - you will never win an argument with an ignorant person. So don't bother responding to the troll.

Stynes played with broken ribs Dawes is a [censored] and you guys can't accept it at least Mitch could play , Dawes is a skirt that can't play and refuses to because of minor niggles, but I'm sure he doesn't hobble to the ATM every Friday to collect his massive salary.

I find it disgusting that you call yourself a Melbourne supporter. The tripe you type is repugnant at best.

Play through a torn calf?

Your statement shows your ignorance of football and sport in general.

Exactly, I only ever see any of his garbage when someone responds to it; stop responding and he will just go away, back to Ology where they like him as little as we do here.

This is coming from you who backed CS to he was sacked , you gave them money and YOU admitted they had you down the back of the room to they realised what you bought to the table , you got used but that has no relevance to this situation we have two highly paid KPP walking up to an ATM every Friday and pulling out about $ 60,000 between them there duds that can't play through pain FMD Dermie got up in the 89 GF with a punctured [censored] lung and produced the goods because he's a hard core champion , you people are absolutely pathetic private school boy girls, men play through pain! guys like Robbie F need to stick to political threads be because that's all he has in his aresensal !

Im amazed that i got a warning point for saying someone should run through Mclean, after he lagged in the club, and others get away with crap like this.

By the way do warning points ever lapse?

I just put that through Google Translate and it still doesn't make any sense:

"This is supported by CS from those of you who came to his dismissal, and you give them money, you recognize that they have you down the back of the room to the table they realize what you buy, you get used to, but in this case there is no relevant we have two paid sex KPP walk to the ATM machine there every Friday pulled out about $ 60,000 between them can not be played dud FMD Dermie pain in 89 GF got a puncture [deleted] lung and production product, because he is a hardcore champion, you people are absolutely pathetic private school boys and girls, men play in pain! Coaches will not let players who are not well play it is not a matter of how tough but how long they will be out for if the do more damage. Dawes and Mitch have injuries that they will recover from in time. In the meantime we are still putting 22 players onto the field who need to play to the best of their ability. it gives some other players a chance to play now with a much better midfield than we had last year.

Haha so that's the standard, if you can't play with a punctured lung you're soft, plenty of players need some harden up juice then

you seriously have no freaking idea so just shhhh :)

Dermie has 5 flags and you have none , The Hawks have multiple champs we have none guys like you are pathetic and accept low standards and I don't Thats why I earned big bucks and worked hard for today and your probably posting during lunch break at school, if you think the hierarchy are not questioning those 2 pea hearts contracts your dumber than your posts suggest .

Oh wow you have reached a whole new level of silly, you also have zero flags... hahaha, and we aren't comparing the Hawks to us, we are talking about your idea of what's tough and what's not, then you throw in a totally inaccurate insult thing because you don't know what else to say, and i'm sure they are, but i'm also sure they're mindful of the fact that injuries happen and they're noones fault.

i am certain if a bloke had a punctured lung in 2014 there is no way they'd let him play on even if he wanted to or not, but that's irrelevant it's insane to say you're soft if you don't play on with a punctured lung, that means you're just freakishly tough, which not many people are.

also for the record i earn very good money, don't accept low standards but i'm not a total idiot who expects way too much of people.

You live on the planet Koozbane but seem to think yours mean something? And what does attending games have to do with me commenting on your illiterate rantings?

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
