Might be to increase the crowd as well. Not sure if the club makes money from these games but I think Casey usually do the BBQs and should rake in a fair few dollars which in turn helps MFC. And you'd hope someone makes some money from the car parking disaster.

Not at all, was in ground just before kick off last year, park 5 min walk if that, 2 mins to find a park

I haven't been up that way for years, I would like to go but it is a long way to drive from Fitzroy and my driving skills are a bit dodgy these days. But can I still land my Cessna at Casey Airfield? Anyone know? If I can that would be great, I could do a circuit of the ground before play if you like. Happy to hang a few Demon flags out off the wings. Over and out.

Sorry The Hood Casey Airfield is long gone, replaced by Monash University campus and a private Secondary College.

Maybe you could set her down on the athletics track.

Parking should not be the issue it has been due to the opening up of neighbouring housing developments,however local cricket finals are on this weekend and games will be on at Casey Fields which probably won't help entry and egress of vehicles.

From the time I've been going to these Casey practice games getting in to parking hasn't been too much of a problem. A little slow moving but you eventually get directed to the right area as it fills up.

The issue I've got is getting out they only have the one way out at the main entrance. At least last year they got everyone going out of there left or right quicker but they need a second exit which they probably wont do as it would mean crossing the rail tracks or cutting through properties south. Poor design but what do you expect I guess.

By the way for those coming down the Monash I've found it much quicker to go via Berwick and Clyde road than go through Cranbourne on the South Gippy Highway. Same on the way home.

While I could easily go last year's experience was a nightmare, even though I arrived in good time. The parking and traffic getting in and out is hideous.

Not to mention it's one of the worst spectator viewing grounds I've ever come across.

Plenty of work has been done regarding entry and exit.

While there is still only one exit road it has been widened and is multi laned.

Not ideal but should be an improvement on previous setup.

There premiership supporters because they travel to support there club 9 times a year, if you don't like Casey don't go the main reason this clubs dying is because of weak links like yourself , If people have attitudes like you this club will be finished by 2020, this club needs Casey like the Hawks needed Waverly now if you don't go that's up to you but dont cry when we go down like Fitzroy .

Who cares what Port have, we have 28,000 and are coming off a 2 win season, some supporters aren't going to drive to casey, myself included and that is going to have absolutely no bearing on whether the club survives long term or not, how many W's we put out in the next three years however will.

You are aware of the slight difference in access by public transport to the G as compared to Casey ? You are are of the slight difference in car parking options and the way traffic disperses from the G as opposed to Casey ? You are aware of the excellent viewing facilities at the G as compared to Casey ?

No-one moans about travelling to the G because it is the premier sporting stadium in Australia - with great viewing and easy access....as opposed to Casey.

50,000 is the average now we need outside support but if you don't support Casey that's your decision D26 , this clubs 22,000 members behind port and I back Jims and Paul's decision to see it through.

Honestly, I've never had a problem getting a park at Casey. Getting out can be a pain because of the volume of traffic, but you get that a pretty much any venue. If you're really worried about it leave partway through the Casey game and you should have no issues. I do advise caution with the canteen though. I've had some terrible results from eating some of their cooking in the past, in particular the egg and bacon rolls.
