This is the same poster who started the "Our captains must go" thread, in which he suggested "Maloney" should have been captain....

Wouldn't get sucked in too much.

FD, do me a favour and press the 'quote' button, then type your response outside the box.

Cheers.

FD! Type outside the box! FMD, FD!

And he does it against a ton of supply, he really is a marvel, to suggest he has been no good is way off the mark.

How's Frawley gone this year. I remember games on Hurley (Ess), Jones (WB), Franklin (Haw), Hawkins (Geel), Petrie (North), J, Riewoldt (Rich) and Tippett (Syd) where all those players barely won a one on one against Frawley and made very little impact on the scoreboard or game.

At times he's looked a little under the weather and despondent but it's hard to blame him.

I've got him down for only one truly bad game for the year and that was against West Coast and on the guy who is leading the Coleman and probably the best forward in the comp right now and that's Josh Kennedy.

Frawley is our number 1 important player and must get a contract extension to stabilise the club. If I'm the new coach of Melbourne the first thing I do is go straight to Frawley and getting him extended.

He still needs to fire up! Coach needs to get up him and all of em. You and I cant do it, its up to him.

I can't even reply, this is too easy. Must be strong. And. not. make. fun.

Hahaha well done, fantastic display of self control

This is thread has one of either two explanations:

1. Following the MFC is now a major cause of psychosis

Or

2. Frosty Demon = Brent Moloney (not Maloney)

Okay, will get the message to him post haste: "Frosty Demon says you need to fire up".

I think you'll find a more receptive audience to this nonsense on Facebook.

Your an inspiration pman

Actually really good, we'd prepared for the worst but she's a great baby... Might all change when I tell her she's a Melbourne supporter though...

Frosty Demon and his abhorrent quoting has brought shame to my posts.

I reckon our whole backline should be congratulated this season. The amount of times the football has entered our opposition 50 Id be annoyed and frustrated to.

I think Frawley has been ok this season. Also u have to remember he has just seen his 6th afl coach go so no wonder team morale is down.

He will be good for next year. Also if anyone needs a fire up another name comes to mind. Its obvious but watts needs a spray before frawley

I don't know if AFL coaches give sprays anymore but if I was coaching Melbourne, Frawley is one bloke that would get it all. Well for the last four years his performances have been terrible.

Now I know he is probably a lovely young man but if I was coach, I would give him the biggest bake before the start of the next game. If he didn't come out and play the house down then it is time to play in the twos or trade. Your meant to be an all Australian chip! start playing like it, because those who know football can see that your an imposter. Stop looking up field and blaming those around you and take the game on. Bloody have a dip mate, show some leadership and rip these last four games apart. Either that or its time to go. I hope you prove me wrong.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

It seems like only yesterday that these two sides faced off against each other in the centre of the continent. It was when Melbourne was experiencing a rare period of success with five wins from its previous six matches including victories over both of last year’s grand finalists.  Well, it wasn’t yesterday but it was early last month and it remains etched clearly in the memory. The Saints were going through a slump and the predicted outcome of their encounter at TIO Traeger Park was a virtual no-brainer. A Melbourne victory and another step closer to a possible rise into finals contention. Something that was unthinkable after opening the season with five straight defeats.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.
