Win or lose doesn't seem as important to me as actually looking forward to the game. I haven't felt that all year.

WATTS ruck/ruck rover good move, hope he ends up "resting" in the forward line. I hope he keeps this position for at least 3 weeks ,the experience will be good for him ( improve confidence

and self esteem ) and for the dees.

BLEASE needs to keep playing senior footy.

I would like to see GARLAND play forward when FRAWLEY gets back,he has kicked goals b4.

Overall CRAIG team looks alright, the so called "also rans"get to have another crack, will be interesting.

note:- b4 stands 4 before,I hope that the above is not an english test. 4 those those who are concerned, should statements end in a ?,YOU worry warts need to get a life.By the way my name

is FERKOFF

hahaha I lost it when I read this. I have done the exact same thing to two ex girlfriends lol. Building a supporter base one by one.

Is it wrong to buy her a Dees membership for Xmas?

One things for sure, if we do get up today the heat is going to be well and truly on Scott Watters.

C'mon Dee's.

Sticking tackles will be crucial today.

Watching Port v Sydney reminds me that intense pressure and good tackling can bridge a gap between two teams very quickly.

Good luck boydie. In saying that I am undecided I did put $10 on at $7 for the dees to win between 1 - 39 points so here's hoping

You know that phenomenon were teams who's coaches are sacked come out and play awesome the following weekend? People often say "they played for the coach, but why couldn't they do that previously"?

Well I have a theory, I believe that happens because often when things are going south at footy clubs, and pressure is really mounting on a coach, the players really feel that. They feel a weight of responsibility, which makes them less confident, less able to positively attack games. We've seen it this year in many games where we play quite well, and then when the going gets tough, the players find it very difficult to play with freedom, they second guess themselves, they think, oh no, another big loss could be catastrophic for Mark... etc.... and the confidence level plummets. The collingwood game is a prime example. It's not that they are not fit enough or good enough, it's that the weight of responsibility forces them to go into their shell.

Then when the coach departs and that cloud lifts, often they attack the following game with a freedom not previously seen. Garland said it in his presser... "we have nothing to lose now".

Who knows, maybe I'm talking crap, but I'm going with it, and it makes me confident of an improved showing today.

GO DEES!

Yes - never under-estimate how debilitating imposed guilt can be!

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
