If peter jackson pulls this off i will go up to him and french kiss the [censored] out of him

Eade pulls out + Roos sounds positive = more than coincidence.

Yyyyyyyyyeeeeeeesssssssss! I'm calling it early.

Considering she gets all her mail straight from AFL house thats a pretty big quote from her

Suddenly i am thinking we are a big chance

hahaha, a Big 3% ???

we just need to keep thinking 'premiership', & all together, humm a meditative tone, hhhmmmnn

Wait was there an interview with Roos or something tonight?

Just a chat that turned into so much more.

What did he actually say? anyone put a sneaky contract infront of him?

what was this chat /interview on ?

He was 0%....Now he is at 50%......

forgive me am in a car up the Hume. lol

relying on you lot :)

Wow

The tide is turning

I wont get my hopes up though as I dont want them crushed, but wow..............

If we do land him, it will be one of the biggest steps the club has made for 20 years IMO.

kicking it up to 4% now huh HH :)

Getting Jackson on board has proven a godsend as well

Looking forward to Watts backpedalling if we get Roos

kicking it up to 4% now huh HH :)

lol

ill kick it up to 50% as i have always taken Roos at his word

Someone slap me as I'm rapidly jumping to conclusions and typing furiously about something that is a long way from happening. Go Dees.

Rattan just said on SEN that he hasn't been approached or spoken to anyone from melb...

Just thought I'd add this so we can tick another potential coach off the list.

Saying No to the Lions, Eade pulling out, now he is changing his tunes!

loving that i have money on Roos to coach us now!

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
