Terlich doesn't seem to know how to handball.... Costly.

Terlich had two players free with a handball, he kicks to the top of the 50 to a 1 on 3 and turns it over. They goal.

We are gifting this lead to them

dumb footy cetre to CHF, chip it over the top for the short one, teamate could run on with the ball & goal.

Matt Jones and Terlich try hard but just don't have the AFL polish required as yet.

Effort is there though.

Tommy Mac doing his best Al Nicholson today.

Tom MacDonald getting killed by luenberger.

Watts not chasing or tackling.

Has Jamar won a tap yet?

McDonald does not belong at full back.

Watts' urgency - or lack thereof - continues to drive me up the wall.

Trengove a quiet start, Bruce? 6 tackles suggests otherwise!

No chance of a centre clearance, I suppose?

I really don't understand this - I haven't played enough footy to have a clue about WHY we can't get the ball out of the centre... Is it just skill and nothing we can do about it, or is it structures and coaching, or is it endevour??

sigh

0 possessions can be classed as quiet...

Feels like we are playing one down with Tom McDonald out there.

they may have to switch them as brown is slow now, IMO mcdonald could cover him. Frawley to take the Tall.

if we have, to Pedro could come back.

Dont know whats happened to McDonald this year, been very ordinary.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
