GAME DAY - ROUND 4

Tappy couage!!! And not one f Inge melb player went to him or the GWS player who clattered him. Pathetic.

I hate that. Doesn't it show you that they do not give a flying about each other.

I am going to lock my office Monday morning.

Sumner goals, Jetta reported, GWS lead by 19 points, nearly 3 qtr time. Prepare for boos, and not Scully ones.

Jetta farken idiot!!! Down field, reported and 50 meters for late bump and then push and shove... Just idiots!!!!

I actually think more good will come of Melbourne losing.

I agree.

We're done. This game and for at least the next 3-4 years.

according to some previous threads, MFC were to be contending for finals this year or next...

Contested possies MFC 114 GWS 126

This is a disgraceful football club.

This is Neeld's team and Neeld's product. He is accountable and should just accept that he's a square peg in a round hole at this club.

we should be.

People have to leave.

We get the first two goals of the quarter then we win. They get one we're done, there doesn't seem to be any confidence.

Can we forfeit the year?

Mark neelds last quarter coming up! 70% of our players don't want to be there. How can a 2nd year team have more fitness than us? I'm shocked even if we win!

This site is in for a meltdown in 35 odd minutes.. God help us all.

Neeld should do the honourable thing and resign.

IMO our most important stat this year would be our oppositions uncontested possessions, anyone have it? For a "defensive" coach we have 0 accountability, 0 pressure, and we're often seen standing in empty space while the opposition moves the ball freely.

Today it's MFC 148 GWS 191 (Uncontested)

No need for shock, because it is not going to come to fruition.

Its nearly time to step away, they just ruin your weekend, they give zero enjoyment, there a bunch of losers.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
