Neeld presser live

Listening to it now. He is almost crying.

This is bad...he is hurting.

I will give him that.

Looks like this club has killed another man.

I feel sorry for him, I think this club is so [censored] that no coach could do anything at the moment.

That is the look of a guy as stated has been killed by the players attitude....Neeld is not the problem its the culture of the players...the core is rotten and will take a long time to fix.

'Jack watts was sick....and subbed off for form' otherwise 'Jack is a [censored] weak player and should f**** off'

He should feel a lot bettrr with his severance cheque .

I feel terrible for Mark after watching that.

He is obviously putting in 110% and its just not working at all.

The club stinks to the core.

I honestly think he had been crying alot, that looked like a guy who was holding back tears on camera.

Trust it, he cried.

He summed it up shuffling players in and players out and find out who wants to compete.

Jack watts will clearly be delisted if Neeld is still at the helm at year end.

I think he actually said Jack is ill, as in ill-fitting at AFL level.

i really feel for Neeld. He had such big visions for this club. he really wanted to change it. Perhaps he isnt the right choice but he has been scuppered by the upper managmeent and the players. he never had a chance. Sad night. very sad night

It was really, really hard to watch. You could see that he was hurting so much! He is obviously working his butt off and the culture of the club is just crushing him!

I'm so glad you haven't censored this mods because for once it's exactly right.

We have issues.

At the start of the presser it was obvious he had been crying. Then his twitch came in when the stress hit. Was hard to watch. Clearly has developed a love for the club and is hurting that what he thought would happen is not. Feel for him but at the same time how can we be worse than last year? even if he is still trying to sort the AFL players from the VFL reserve players. I just cant understand how we are worse.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Brisbane

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
