Missed the start, but Finey not thinking much of Sellar and Pedo.

Ox wondering what's happened to Jamar and Frawley, saying they're not the same players they were and have gone backwards at "100 miles an hour".

Finey: fitness is shocking, guys huffing and puffing in the first quarter, off field coaches etc need to take responsibility

Ox sounded as frustrated as any of us.

Sat with Jim Styne's dad and both were appalled by Jamar's ruckwork.

Praised Hinkley for what he's been able to do in 4 months with a "basket case" like Port. (hint hint Neeld)

No surprise there. I posted this many times. If Jamar's toes were midfielders we'd win every clearance.

Yep jamar seems soft. Knows he has no competition so doesn't jump just plays jump ball. I agree with ox.

Really though a lot of teams play young talls no better than pedo and sellar and beat us. It's a mindset and generally 22 issue which falls to the coaches.

Misso might have the fitness up but anyone who watches Melbourne train should know that the quality of training is still really bad

His tapping has gone a long way backwards, he lumbers around the ground (well, the square maybe), and he gotten beaten today by possibly the worst ruck combo going.

Just settle. Only one game. Give some credit to pa? sadly I do agree with all comments re Jamar though. He's ordinary.

There is a direct link between Jamar's form drop and when he signed that big contract!!

re jamar , today i seen him jump so many times at the bounce and was back on his feet before the ball , started coming back down , ? then started not jumping at all , just trying to slap it out flatfooted , anyone else notice that ?

Yep , only 198cm, not to mention being Hudson's [censored] and gentle as a lamb. Huge part of our midfield problem IMO.

The ox should step up and take charge of the club - Mclardy needs to step aside. We someone to make everyone accountable.

What qualifications does Ox have besides being on radio? Passion for the club doesn't count.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
