Don't put him in the Demonland banner for Christ's sake!

and he must never win a best and fairest or be given the captaincy

Sliced bread and the invention of the wheel have nothing on Mitch Clark.

Mitch Clark = best thing to ever happen to mankind

Don't put him in the Demonland banner for Christ's sake!

Not just on the banner.

At the end of the banner.

he can be the other bookend to Jimmy, how appropriate.

I get the feeling that there is no BS with Mitch, and he really means what he says! He's been a great aquisition, and really justified his spot in our leadership group.

i am considering offering my services to keep his foot steady while he sleeps to aid his recovery. its the least i can do.

you know when ever i talk to my son about all the crap thats been happening to us, Jurrah leaving etc.. we always end up saying...yeah.....but we got Mitch Clark.

We can build a team around him.....get us a few quality mids next year and kick it in Mitchs direction ...that is all....

The quote that stood out for me was "I think the biggest thing I brought was the standards I set for training and how I prepare myself for footy,”.

It proves to me that training and the preparation of players to be AFL footballers under the Bailey era was far below the standards set by other clubs, even average clubs like Brisbane.

I believe in Mitch!

You're just naive.

Just because our best player was recruited from another club doesn't mean that we can recruit good players from other clubs.

I reckon he's probably scared some of the exit-types away from the club. ( thanks btw )

MC ...."See boys, this is how you train, this is how you apply yourself, this is 100% effort, this is belief in the Coach "

others.... " f*#k !! Ive got to do that, all the time ? .......let me out of here !!! "

I think i want to be gay....

Post of the year! absolute pisser.

Definitely a breath of fresh air!

In the famous words of Bert Newton, "I Like the boy!!"

Has anyone heard any FACTUAL updates on how his foot is progressing.

I don't want any BS along the lines that "my neighbour's 99 year old grandma saw him walking without apparent difficulty" etc, just FACTS.

His full recovery is about as pivotal to our progress as would have been a full recovery from the Ox's first knee reco.

I saw him close dancing with demoniod a couple of nights ago. Foot looked fine.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
