LOL! Sam Gibson: "We knew we needed to be hard and strong at the contest because that's what Melbourne bring every week."

I don't know if he's watched any Melbourne games this season...

The contest is reasonable. It's all the other important facets of the game we are terrible at.

he was talking about that other team...Sth Melbourne

And....

Cue the doomsayers threads about Neeld and 3/4's of the list.

True that. Makes reading posts here pretty much a waste of time.

Considering what has happened at Essendon can we calm the F@7& down? Change is coming, we are crap, but the club is not standing still, they are working towards fixing the list. Neeld made it clear there will be big list changes this year.

Yeah fair enough but I can't be arsed wasting my weekends on this utter tripe any more. Wake me when we're good and I'll bother coming back to watch them play again.

I agree.

We have a crack .We just have no skill.

Hoodoo ground, hoodoo team, we're decimated and out of form.

Any hope today ... anywhere?

Yes good one Whispering!! It's the ground's fault!!

Yes, we definitely have a 'crack' ...and like most cracks we eventually fall apart !!

I agree.

We have a crack .We just have no skill.

Rubbish! There was no heart. If you were really Biffo you would not have said that. No heart. No passion. Players seemed totally disinterested.

If that's truly the case Gonzo you'll be waiting at least another 2 years.

some have a crack, some should have crack, some have cracked and some just crack me up.

All in all it makes for a cracking good time !!

We are simply so inept it is a cringing embarrassment.

I fear it's gonna be a lot longer than that, I really do.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
