Jaded No More 68,976 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 6- Grimes 5- Jetta 4- Martin The rest are dead to me this week.
Chook 15,088 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 6 Nicholson, for the run he gave us. 5 Grimes, for his courage and spread. 4 Jetta, who is as tough as nails. 3 Trengove, who I felt played one of his best games of the year. 2 Jones, who was tagged out of the game for most of the night, but still gave us something as the game wore on. 1 Rivers, who was our only real target in the forward line. -22 Garland, who played one of the worst games I've ever seen a Demon play. Absolutely atrocious.

Chook 15,088 Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 how depressing is that, the top 4 can hold their heads up this year the rest have failed Didn't Neeld say there were 4 players after the Brisbane game who could hold their heads up? At least the Demonland poll seems accurate.
RalphiusMaximus 6,112 Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 how depressing is that, the top 4 can hold their heads up this year the rest have failed Can't agree with that. Tom McDonald has done far better than anyone could have expected at this stage. Dan Nicholson has improved drastically. Grimes is getting heaps of the ball and stringing games together. Blease is starting to show his talent, even if he still has work to do on his engine and defensive game. I look forward to next year with an actual forward line in play and a few more of our young mids with kicking skills getting a game.
