I don't even have the tank to run this site down, despite your hyperbole.

Not sure the audience is "captive" either, or that it's not captive on 'ology?

But I have always found 'ology a bit on the "odd" side, and not focused enough on the footy.

That's all I really care about in the end.

I'm not sure what you mean?

NB. What sort of building are you in, dee-luded?

Simple. the thread was meant to be a bout people who are intersted in Re building "Ology... Not about if you thought it shouldn't exist.

It was a message looking for support from interested parties.

It wasn't looking for your cold water. The thread ended up being flooded by chat, rather than interested parties adding they're contact availabilities.

Just a question princess, and if anything it kept the thread near the top of the page so that more people would see it.

Go on and have a sook though.

You're good at that.

Did you ever post on Ology Joe?

Your posting style would have got you in to a lot of arguments there and I think that would have suited you.

I hope it is resurrected it is a good site and whilst I'll never post there again I do have the occasional look through to see what's happening. I'd even throw in a couple of bucks to get it going if it will keep Bluey and IRW away from here.

and this is why I can't help but laugh when i read posts from 'landers having a crack at 'ologists for resorting to personal attacks in favour of discussion

the odd barney aside there is far more sniping on these boards IMO

I reckon referring to members as "ologists" or "landers" is forumist. Can't we all just be "Melbourne supporters"? :P

You, just want put schitt on it. There's our difference.

I'll sign off for now, & back to other topics.

You have my vote Nasher

But I guess I should not be surprised why would MFC supporters be any different to the rest of Australia

My lasting memory of Demonology for some reason is Demon2 back in 2004 blasting another poster (can't remember their name) because they went to Wesley and wouldn't buy two memberships. I have absolutely no idea why I can even remember that.

It's not about me.

And I honestly don't care if ology thrives or fades into the ether.

Carry on.

You know Joe, if I didn't care whether Ology lived or died, I not only wouldn't have posted on here, I wouldn't have opened the thread.

I don't think 'Olgy is anywhere near as aggressive now as it once was RF.

A couple of long overdue key bannings saw to that.

I thought Mikey got a raw deal tho'.

Just an over enthusiastic kid that loved the club.

I find Bluey & IRW rather amusing and am happy they made their move here.

Bluey for his Eeyore persona and IRW for his skill at bamboozeling his jousting opponents who like me don't understand WTF he's on about.

Unfortunately I'm living in Adelaide and can't make the meeting. I'd love to offer my assistance for whatever is required. I have an IT background and work for an Internet service provider so happy to offer what I can.

Demonology has brought me much enjoyment and I hope it continues in whatever form that may be

That's probably because I don't post there anymore. lol

Bluey's a clown (actually I think most of what he says is purely to get a rise out of other posters) and can be amusing at times, but IRW he's just a pain in the ass.

They're certainly not the reason I left, Bluey never really worried me his posts were generally no more than 2 lines at best, the other one was just full of it, but it just became tiresome fighting every time I posted.

What possible use could those skills be for an online forum? Maybe you could send us some of those yummy pie-floaters.

You would think that if you had to choose, there would be a preference for another forum, on the footy club we all love, to survive?

It's as if some form of internet forum competition exists with some people here, and even on Demonology. It's ridiculous

touche. I wasn't intentionally painting myself into the 'ologist camp, just noting that while I see plenty of stones cast from the respective boards neither can claim the high ground on personal attacks. here i see more sniping, there i see recurring salvos in long running wars. perhaps the main difference is the weight of numbers

that, and the fact the people here seem to hate Morton more that Dee_Flower hates Rivers ;)

That just solved the problem of what to have for lunch today :.)

Agreed and there is absolutely no competition or animosity between the site owners and "staff". In fact it is the exact opposite. Over the years we have worked together on many projects and functions. Demonland co-founder Whispering Jack is working very hard to get Demonology back up and running. There is definitely room for both sites to coexist and complement each other and the official site.
