We Scully haters consider ourselves a bit like the Simon Wisenthal Centre.

It may be a long time ago but we refuse to let it go.

If that is a politically incorrect comment then swap it for an old digger who survived Changhi and wont forgive the Japanese .

Either way ,the 31 jumper is tainted forever with disgrace .

It gives me great joy to see $cully fail and I'm not sure if it's because it sticks it up Sheedy, or it makes $cully look like a money grabbing scumbag who's turned out to be an absolute dud of a player, one that's totally devoid of any personality and conscience.

It will please me no end when the media start to put the acid on both of them.

It will also please me no end when Sheedy starts to lose players because of the obscene contract that $cully is on.

it will also please me no end when we select two players for the price of half of one and they are both playing well whilst $cully is playing in the local league as the most expensive seconds player ever.

Thanks Sheeds, you pathetic old fool, how does your judgement look now?

Agree with that (and extra bonus points for working in both theatres of WW2) except for the jumper bit. The jumper is ALWAYS bigger than the man that wears it.

Hope the 31 locker remains welded shut .

Barassi and $cully left it full of evil spirits.

Get over it Jumbo!!

For heavens sake Scully did the correct thing moving to GWS. Who cares anymore?? You obviously loved him otherwise you wouldn't sulk so much. Scully is still a kid same as Trengove. He'll be good don't worry about that.

I know, thaipantsman, I know...but I'm so damn angry at how all this unfolded.

I healed a little bit when we thrashed them, I need time.

Sorry for being so grumpy.

I'm with you Jmac.

Sheedy wanted pay back bad.

Sheedy has always been lower then a snakes belly. The way he treated Allan Jeans,a true gentlemen who was twice the man, was disgraceful.

Can't helping wondering if Scully would be a far better player now if he had committed to Melbourne in a professional way from the start. He has lost 2 years of development since his first year. I remain bewildered that Melbourne never did due diligence on him and his family. I have never believed in the chorus line of recruiters who all agree on the order of first picks.

Both shocking comparisons and your comments taint all future comments of yours as insensitive. Personally anyone who participates in mass genocide and war crimes should be hunted down and punished accordingly. Leaving a job for better pay and securing a financial future for one's family is hardly a comparison. I wonder what you would do if you were offered a significant amount more only to change jobs. Yes I was annoyed but enough of a realist to see it. Please please avoid comparisons like this again.

Anyone who's mad that he left for more money has no support from me, but anyone who believes that the way Scully left was wrong has absolutely got every right to hold that against him. If you ask me, lying is not inherently wrong, but unnecessary lying is; and furthermore, it is a sign of a deep-seated lack of morals.

A "fine young man" Scully is not.

Don't know if I agree with you on that but you're entitled to your opinion. As for this tainting every future comment I make then simply hit the ignore button mate.Personally ,I see little point in hunting down 90 plus year olds 70 years after a war.The comparison to hating Scully is known as Irony or Satire.

I can think of 6 million reasons (1 million of which relate to children). Not to mention another 4 million reasons nothing to do with religion. I imagine if a person killed a member of your family, you would want he or she brought to justice no matter their age but that is a guess. The comparison is insensitive and inappropriate. My comment on tainting is also satire and irony. Mmmmm. Perhaps acknowledging an error in attempting some humor is warranted rather than trying to justify it.

I can understand that and agree. People are entitled to be mad. What upset me is the comparison to genocide and mass murder.

There are about 40 million reasons to forget about WW2. You want to demand an apology?Move on...Look forward.

I think Biffen was saying that because some Japanese participated in genocide and mass murder, some elderly Australians are unwilling to associate with any Japanese person.

I'm not sure Biffen was comparing what Scully did to mass murder; rather that a negative experience can fundamentally alter a person's attitude towards a group (or in this case an individual).

Thought you may be too small to even acknowledge you were insensitive. I can only hope you never experience the pain and hurt my family experienced. Until my last breath I support anyone who brings evil people to justice and will ensure people remember what happened to ensure this never happens again.

Thanks for the clarification Chook. I was not involved in WW2 and see no reason to apologise for the actions of the Germans or Japanese.I don't condone the actions of the SS either. I resent the inference also.

I'll move lest I be tried for cyber-crime.

Simon Wisenthal was about bringing Nazis to justice, not in punishing anyone of German heritage. That is the fundamental difference. If what you say is what he Meath then all he needed to do was say that was not his intent and I would have stopped. As it is, I have made my point so I am ready to move on.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
