QWhy dnt you ask Jnr Mac what it cost to be a champion

Spot on Jaded.

At the time I was disappointed in his decision to leave but was filthy in the way he handeled it.

Going for money? Be honest and under the circumstances I could have understood it. My anger would have been leveled at the AFL.

The way this goose handeled himself was a down right discrace and I hope he pays for it, in full, Sunday (and again, in full, every other time we play them). What a time for The Bull to be on the sidelines!

I seriously hope that if you do display a sign like that, Sam Stynes isn't there to witness it... I would be pretty certain that she would be extremely embarrassed.

I hope you don't. Hardtack is right. Show some respect for the Stynes family who I'm quite sure would prefer to maintain a dignified silence on the matter.

To anyone actually making banners - let's get some rules out of the way first so that you don't embarrass yourselves and, by extension, your club.

It has to be short, understandable, and preferably humourous.

It cannot be longwinded, it cannot rhyme, and it can't be a question.

Try not to sound bitter and try not to sound wounded.

DO NOT MENTION JIM.

Stick to these rules and you will be fine - step outside of these rules and you will be hounded with ridicule until my fingers hurt.

My preference is 'Exorcised' but Lucifers Hero's one is ok - assuming the symbols are written clearly.

Think of rpfc's list as "guideline"... but having said that, I do think that the mention of Jim and Scully on the one banner is something that should be strongly discouraged.

No, I have no enforcement powers.

I only offer wisdom and guidance so that one does not offend the senses and comedy.

No Jim, no bitterness, and no bad puns.

That's all I ask.

I think what the banners say is the least of the problem. I'd be more worried about how to smuggle them in if you're not with the cheer squad?

Yes, I see what you mean... but in the case of DemonDan's proposed banner, I would say that exemplifies perfectly why some banners should not be allowed in.

Fair enough.

I'll be disapointed if i dont see some banners & fake dollars in the crowd and hear alot of booing on TV

You're not wrong...I hope!

In my opinion the banner should define the MFC values and let these be a mirror to our ex, his father, his suitor and manager........UNITY, LOYALTY, INTEGRITY

    TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
