Mark Neelds reaction on siren

I reckon it was genius of him to coach the last quarter on the bench and I reckon he just would have been encouraging them all the time. I looked down and he actually had to hold the players back so they wouldnt run on the ground before the siren went. I watched the end bit at home and just the emotion of him chucking down the headphones and hugging the 4 interchange players then running to the rooms.

I thought he may have actually ran out onto the ground with the players but instead he wanted to share it with his assistant coaches and others. Loved how all the support staff got around him and I reckon he should have been in the middle of the circle but I guess he thought it was the players moment. he has just had a huge weight lifted from his shoulders and he will sleep very well.

Also loved how Mclardy just went up and gave him a huge hug. Hope it can continue.

Yes smiles and congrats all round was fantastic to see, from the players ,coaches and admin, and the supporters, seemed to b a lot of young'ns on the fence for the celebrations, good to see. 40 odd thousand on a wet night saw a great result for the MFC and footy in general.

The best win I've seen in years. And much of it is because Mark Neeld is a gun and, tonight at least, we've been able to give him an insight into what he can achieve at this club.

So bloody happy. I reckon we can pump the Pies next week too.

Good journalistic style reading 'Whisper', but no logic - Scott knows what he is doing with what he has got - that's why he's there for a while. 'Some days are diamonds, some days are stones' ring a bell?

Watching Adelaide, thankfully we didn't get Ross Lyon, sadly we got Neeld, and how I wish we'd got Sanderson - but we didn't look did we!

I thought that Neeld ran downstairs also because he wanted the spotlight on the players not on him. Also noticed he didn't stand in the circle for the song. I like that. I like a coach that keeps a distance from the players. ND and DB didn't do that
