Looking forward to you bagging Green and heaping praise on Sylvia. If only Bruce was still playing for us. In any case cheer them on with gusto - a good year for me to be in Sydney but I will be watching on foxtel.

.........the upset of the season tonight!

(sorry, got caught daydreaming there)!

We will win tonight.

Expect pain tonight. The bombers play right into our weakest areas. Their small forwards will tear us apart. Would have liked to see Davey vs Davey though.

Fletcher and Crameri out would be very handy.

Please play Sylvia in the guts tonight Neeld, from the first bounce.

I know he needs to learn how to play defensively in there but ffs your current plan isn't working.

I'm only hoping for a 3 quarter effort like last week, if we can do that again it shows we're starting to click and only fitness is in our way from being really competitive.

But geez I hate the Bummers more than ANY other time. Not even close.

Please, please, someone flatten Heppel or Hurley! Beamer or Sylvia, I'm looking at you guys, do something useful for a change.

Only late out for the Bombers is Cale Hooker with Tayte Pears coming in, also mentioned that Rohan Bail is out with Cale Morton comes in

Sam Lonergan and Lynden Dunn the subs

I'm illogically optimistic. I think it must just be hard wired in me to keep me interested.

You have my admiration

I'm looking for improvement across the board tonight I want Jack to play on Hurley which he might cause Jack was named at CHB also looking for Howe to keep his feet in the contest and not let himself with his set shots and slopping field kicking

Howe needs to stop missing those shots he is getting a few mins in when we have the ascendency. Two weeks in a row now, really lets the team down.

Master Demon, interested in your comment re Bail. Like to know your criteria, he is unskilled and too old to learn.

Like in any game there is always a chance to win. I don't care who's in or out. Hardly think Bail out is of any consequence at all.

F'n cold here. C'mon Dee's keep me here till final siren.

Come on Dees........

Even our banner is fuct... Haha!!

God I HATE those white jumpers!!!!

Would rather see our royal blue jumper as our clash strip

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
