Wow - only 4 points between 5th and 11th on the ladder going into the last game of the season. CGSMU looks safe, given his percentage, but i think any of the other 6 teams can still make collect one of the three remaining spots.

Dark Days i'm already plotting my strategy against you for the first week of finals....

I'm glad I'm playing against the team that in wooden spoon, this is a must win for me or I am out of finals, hopefully Dave's demons playing for priority picks this week ;)

I'm hoping the Galahs are as well. I've had some shockers in recent weeks.

Can't see you having too much trouble Dr.

Serious changes to Galahs underperforming list next year.

Ooooh what a close game.....lucky win in the end. Thought i had lost marks and handballs and won tackles at the start of day, ended up winning marks and handballs and losing tackles. Captain Boyd 31 handballs what a freak.

Commiserations to you Stonecutters, you probably had the best team this year but thats the way it goes.

IWAP we meet again...this time i will not be taking you lightly be assured of that....

Agreed Stonecutters is a bit rough - but don't sell yourself short. You've been the other dominant team, and rightly start this week as overwhelming premiership favourites. No possible way you could lose this one ......

Best of luck (and by that, i mean I hope Boyd gets subbed out in the first quarter)

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the
