On paper, the South Africans, All Blacks & the Wallabies should all progress from their respective QF's but there may be an upset in one of the 3 games. Maybe Wales but the French seem to relish playing against New Zealand.

The Ireland/Argentina match-up is harder to pick ... all the same, we've got 4 excellent games to look forward to watching. All 4 games are on GEM.

Massive losses for the wallabies with both Pocock and Falou ruled out. Beale has looked really good when he has come on as a replacement but I'd expect Scotland to target him with plenty of high balls. Beale can drop a few or knock them fwd early when under pressure.

McCalman works bloody hard and is better with ball in hand, just hope Hooper and Fardy have big games at the breakdown.

Ha ha! I guess that's just the way they do things ... France again have nothing to lose and that nothing to lose mentality has seemingly had an effect on the All Blacks on occasions.

I reckon New Zealand will prevail though - France would probably need to score at least 3 tries to win and they might need 4 tries.

Good question Cards ... I meant it in the sense that the All Blacks will probably score at least 3 tries so the French will need to at least do the same to win.

I had to go a ways back but France (4 tries) have actually done it against the All Blacks ... 1999 World Cup semi-final

They also defeated them in the 2007 QF's

The All Blacks are going to be tough to stop from here after that display ... they've got South Africa next but it's going to take a mighty effort from the Springboks to stop them.

The Kiwis ran in 9 tries in an awesome display, Cards

Savea was 'Lomu like' in scoring his 3 tries ... they are going to be awfully hard to beat.

Was the great escape last night. We always seem to have trouble against Scotland and last night was no exception. Got through though and that's the main thing.

Argentina in a semi now after they stunned Ireland last night, who just can't seem to get past Quarter Final stage at a World Cup. They must have their own form of a Norm Smith curse i think as they always dominate 6 nations.

Has to be said after the weekends matches, it's hard to see anyone beating the All Blacks.

Pocock is a massive whole in our side, I think we only had 1 ball stolen at the breakdown. Praying he can get up for the final (if we make it) at the very least. Beale was good again.

Foley had his worst game in a wallabies jumper by far, otherwise it would have been a bigger margin.

All we can hope for is for the SAFOs and the ABs to beat the living suit cases out of each other. in fact it will be a fascinating game. The ABs will have the edge with there outside backs but it will be a night game of they SAs can keep it in tight.

Issy is a chance but he only got through 10 mins training yesterday before heading off.

Sio is elbow, he got smashed in the scrum all game and then damaged the arm in a scrum.

I watched it in bed, falling in & out of sleep. the last game. I always felt he held issy back against the Scots. gambled & won, just.

But now we have to get our A team back together, to get unity & momentum if we are to win it.

Ya if we are going to get through to a final let alone get within a bulls roar of the ABs (even though it is the SAFOs they are playing it would be a massive boil over if they lost) in the final we need Pocock and Issy fit and firing.

Can't wait to watch both games, lucky I have a new born so I am getting used to late nights with little sleep.

Good first half, Bokkies ran out of gas and never ever looked like scoring a try. Defended well but need to touch at least 1 down against the guys in black.

If we get over the line tomorrow just cannot see us getting close to them. It will be the greatest win in the Wallabies history, the ABs are just so good, have so many weapons, defend so well and have such a deep deep bench.

The inability of the Springboks to score tries was costly - still, they ran them to 2 points when I was expecting the All Blacks to win comfortably ... a little ray of hope I suppose but first we need to win against Argentina (who have had a very good tournament)

How much you got on it HT? Can't see us coming close. In fact I can if Pocock (and Faday) has twice the game he had last week and that was the best game I've seen him play.

They are carrying McCaw to the end here but they are the best defensive unit ever to play the game and have way to much pace for us let alone that ridiculous pack.

It would be our best win ever if we can get up. Come on Wallabies!!!!

Huge amount of work has been done in the last 12 months to get the Wallabies to a WC final. Unfortunately we were up against the best team to ever play team sports.

We took it up to them for periods but gave them too much of a start and ran out of gas. They have huge depth and better overall quality in the side.

Going to be interesting to see if the ABs can replace some of there greats but also interesting to see how we replace the likes of Gits and Mitchell but also can't wait to see us progress as a team. I can see Cheik being like Hanson and pushing the Wallabies to be a great institution. I just hope the administrators can afford the cost of that.
