Collingwood have had their issues.

I am not pleased with how Schwab has handled himself but I am not following where you are coming from.

It's surprising that in 25 years of administrating, no club he's been associated with has won a premiership. I think that tells you something. I understand he isn't the coach. But strong clubs win flags. He's never seen anything through.

I second this! lets not forget what the club was like in 2008????

When I write that he's good at digging clubs out of holes i mean he's capable of doing things like restoring us compared to 2008. I'm not disputing that. But once he stabilises a club he doesn't seem to be able to build from that. Just my impression, for what it's worth.

I am a Schwab fan because of what he has done for the club.For all his corporate speak and KPI jargon the guy has identified most of our off-field problems and dealt with them beautifully .I heard him and CC talk at a golf day for past players as I just happened to be at the bar when they spoke .All the issues we had back then are gone .They also spoke about re-connecting the club with old players and supporters.The coach was the problem for us as has been said here by many people but any kind of player revolt Bailey may have organised was half-arsed and badly executed , as his game plan always was .So what if Schwab has never been involved with a flag.He has done everything possible to get us one and perhaps he gets too involved at times from what I see and hear .I'd rather someone who works as hard as he does than a flake. I don't know the internal workings of the club that well but he presents an intelligent and considered face for us considering Jims health .The last thing we need is panic and mass sackings .Blame the players and the coach for last Saturday . They were the only reason the whole club was made to look a rabble .

Last saturaday before the game while we were waiting to take the banner out CS happened along. He seemed happy enough, cracking a few jokes and being generally his upbeat self. He didnt give any other impression than he was looking forward to a good game of footy.

He had no knives hanging out of his back pocket, only spoke positively about the club and the up coming game.
