an old fashioned vanilla milkshake with the right ingredients takes a bit of beating.

full cream milk, quality ice-cream, vanilla essence, tablespoon of honey, all shaken to within an inch of its life.

Malt?

Not really, it's just a lot more pastry and very little meat, or whatever is inside.

Depends on the ice cream!

Drop the vanilla and honey but add strawberry and you have my vote. Probably why I had to have stents inserted.

One thing is the same; been thrown out by the shop keeper when they worked out what we were doing.

Well done..lol..  yeah.   The 'cue' wasnt that obvious...unless you knew what to look for....and when you did it was easy peasy.

Someone mentioned using deposits off the coke bottles....yeah...whole other story there lol...  Looking back I was quite the ratbag delinquent.

no love for the eskimo pie?

probably and more correctly the inuit pie 😮

Love the Eskimo Pie. Two must haves with the EP:-

• Right Temp C - 18C

• Non-damaged wrapper

Otherwise it can literally be a handful and get messy real quick.

I remember the heart.

There was also the Peters footy.

Pretty busy trade day, hard to keep up with all today's trade news.

Might have been better advised, to have just slurped on a cola and rum slushee.

Didn’t know there was a system but I annoyed my siblings one hot summer with a streak of four frees. Love the game not the odds….

Yes, winning a free frozen cordial drink, was a day’s highlight for a youngster.

They are definitely smaller.

With bigger population and mass production, product quality has been sacrificed for the mighty dollar.

Chocolate tastes like plastic, biscuits like wallpaper etc.

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
